Nice.

I liked it, but didn’t love it. Director Robert Eggers is known for “art house horror,” so think more atmospherics, costuming, cinematography, etc., and less jump scares and gore (tho there’s a touch of each there, too). It’s a beautiful film to watch and the performances are excellent. But I wouldn’t really call it scary. Creepy might be closer. I think ultimately it suffers from being so familiar a story (it’s basically Dracula) that it’s hard to get immersed in it. But it’s still a fun ride.

Welcome aboard! And yeah, we know. People have pointed out how the Bengals skimp on scouting and evaluation for decades. They clearly don’t care and aren’t going to change.

Well, Nawlins might not win another game this decade. Dallas is also likely to get smashed down the stretch (vs Philly and DC). On the plus side Miami and Indy will win out and the Cards ought to go 1-1 at worst. So I’m putting my marker on the Bengals losing out and getting the 12th pick. Even if they screw up and win one they might get there.

Finally something goes our way. Dallas winning last night bumped us from 15 to 14 in the draft. We want NO to beat GB tonight. Won’t change anything immediately but keeps the Bengals in the mix for the 10th pick.

Miami wins. No help for the playoffs today.

Bengals have dropped to 15 in the draft after the early games. Should come back up a bit depending on late results. however with a win today the worst the Bengals can do is 10 losses. Teams in slots 1-9 already have 11+. So best they can possibly do now is 10.

Colts win.

Eh I think this was more about the Clowns being awful. Next week they play an actual pro football team.
