  1. Good luck Chido. Not worried about this departure. Love the Stone signing. Helps us, hurts the Ravens, and with chatter about Dax possibly moving to CB, this is a more than solid signing and at a good deal. If they drop Mixon, they are flat out stupid.
  2. Vonn Bell turned 29 a few months back. Don't know why I thought he was older. That being the case, I would have no issue with him coming back.
  3. So lets project and say Tee gets a small bump over Pittman to $24 million per season with us. Then they turn around and give a $25 million per season deal to Ja'Marr. That's nearly 20% of the total cap for the season just for perspective.
  4. Well, the Colts tagged Pittman and just signed him to a 3 year extension. No money was mentioned yet. When looking at their stat lines, they are pretty comparable so the numbers should be fairly close. Higgins: 58 games w/53 starts, 257 catches, 3684 yards, 14.3 avg, 24 TD's, 185 1st downs Pittman: 62 games w/56 starts, 336 catches, 3662 yards, 10.9 avg, 15 TD's, 180 1st downs EDIT: Pittman gets $71.5m with $46m guaranteed / about $23.6m per year. NOTE: Higgins tag this year is $21.8m
  5. I actually am kind of surprised. I didn't figure Tee would go this route and I'm a little disappointed in hearing this. I get the frustration of the tag and my agreement or disagreement with it's application is irrelevant. This is the business world which was created and agreed upon. Who is his agent? Same as Bates right? Fuck that guy... Asshole move an hour and a half before FA starts. To all teams... Higgins is available for trade. The starting point is two first rounders.
  6. Agree that if they get some of the old Wilson, that's an upgrade for them for sure. I'm not betting on it, but it wouldn't shock me either.
  7. It would have been a good move for almost any team strictly from a money standpoint. From a production standpoint, it's pretty bleak. Wilson is not the QB he was when taking the Seahawks to the post-season. I was thinking, if you caught all of the AFCN QB's in their prime at the same time, this would be insane. Yes, Cleveland and their QB situation is kind of like being "House Poor". Only problem for them is, they can't get out of the house.
  8. That's pretty much my point. They are over the cap. The Chargers put themselves in that position. Paying two WR's top of the market deals, played into that. I'm not blaming all of their cap hell issues on those two contracts, but they certainly play a part. They have an out if they release both Williams and Allen, but it doesn't not appear that doing so is a "want" it's a "need". I'm also not saying if the Bengals sign both Tee and Ja'Marr, they will find themselves in the same boat. A short while ago, I was sold on the idea. I'm simply saying I'm not in that camp at the moment. If someone disagrees with my take, fear not, I will probably change my mind at least 10 times in the next 2-3 weeks.
  9. I’m all for Wilson in Pittsburgh. Rooting for him to be the starter !!
  10. I also read that the Chargers are now considering trading both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Funny, because they did exactly what the Bengals are dealing with right now, in paying two WR's big contracts. Not saying that's where the Bengals would find themselves, but I think it demonstrates the need to spread money. I don't think Tee gets his money here and walks after 2024. I'm ok with that really. I'm betting on Burrow's ability to make WR's better. If that is in fact the case, you don't pay two top end WR's.
  11. Not a surprise. He sucks !!
  12. That dude has been a straight up disappointment from day one.
  13. I was hoping he’d make it to free agency. Not that we would have signed him (I would have) but that it would have hurt the Ravens. Sort of like Chris Jones in KC.
  14. Thats because the over under in Vegas was 4 and people lost their ass. lol
  15. So we ended up with two 6th round comp picks.
  16. FUN TJ, FUN. Insert someone else. I expect the Bengals to address the interior of the d-line in free agency. That could change and I love Newton. This is why I have OT in the first round. The free agent OT's are average at best and hard to tell if they fit with Pollack. While I wouldn't mind passing on Bowers, I don't think the Bengals will in THIS scenario, which probably won't happen. I love Fuaga personally. He's more athletic than Latham is and maybe I just can't Moobs and candy ass Jonah from Alabama out of my head. He consistently lands that short right arm right in the middle of the defenders chest and is a mauler in the run game as well. Please note, I wouldn't be upset with a handful of OT's to be honest, to include Latham. I just like Fuaga more. I will do a new one just for you TJ !!!
  17. Just for fun, because there is no way the Bears trade the #9 overall for Higgins, I poked around to see what a 3 round mock would look like. Here’s how it worked for me… #9- Brock Bowers, TE #18- Taliese Fuaga, OT #49- Cooper Beebe, OG #80- Xavier Legette, WR Again, not happening, but I must admit to really liking the above. Just having fun leading up to the draft !!
