  1. Yeah, injuries and all play into that as well and will have to see how it plays out. Last year they opened 2024 with 10 D-linemen, 4 DE's and 6 DT's. It also helps when 1-2 of them are capable of taking snaps at both positions. 5 sounds about right, but depth will be needed. Another reason I would prefer a DT later in the draft process.
  2. Well they did lose/dump Tufele and Rankins and then added Slaton. BJ Hill was brought back back doesn’t count in the add/subtract equation. That being the case they need to add another DT for depth if nothing else. Not sure drafting a DT indicates much about their current roster. Personally I’d rather then wait until the 4th round and take a guy like Rylie Mills, the DT from Notre Dame. Not just because of Golden but because I think he’s a solid player that is flying under the radar.
  3. Two weeks from tomorrow and I really don't think there's much clarity to which direction they could go. Since we are only left to guess, I would put #17 at something like... DE OT/OG Safety Linebacker CB DT I don't think QB, WR, TE or RB should even be a consideration within the first 3 rounds unless someone extraordinary falls to them they simply thought had no shot of falling into their laps.
  4. Yep. Back to back shutouts and go for the sweep today. There's always hope with the long baseball season. Well.... until there isn't.
  5. Katie looks like Boomhauer from Over the Hill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHjnuWkYT68
  6. And yet here we are ten games into the season, sitting at 3-7 in the basement of the NL Central. Sadly they are making my point for me.
  7. I don't know why, but when I read this my mind placed a "favorite" in the sentence. "Say you are reading the obituaries on your favorite local funeral home's website." I don't even have a favorite local funeral home.
  8. I love college football and watch a ton of it. I’m a huge Buckeyes fan but I’m realistic when it comes to those guys becoming Bengals. While the Buckeyes won the National Championship, there aren’t many I’d be thrilled seeing the Bengals draft. I love Jack Sawyer and he had one of the best plays against the Longhorns in the playoff game. However, I think he’s a bit overrated in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I just don’t think he’s consistent enough. That being said, I would love to continue rooting for him. That being said, I love Judkins as a RB and think they have some underrated and late round guys like safety Lathan Ranson and linebacker Cody Simon respectively. Donovan Jackson as an OG wouldn’t bother me either if he were still there in the 2nd.
  9. It’s like the Reds COB, the more things change… the more they stay the same.
  10. I’m surprised Risner is still out there. I honestly lost track because I thought he was gone. Agree they should sign him. Much better than anything we current have on the roster. I’m sure asking price may be a concerning thought, but he’s a starter for us for sure.
  11. Yeah I’m pretty much thinking anything on the o-line and any defensive position is up for consideration at #17. Although I could probably say that’s the case through all the rounds.
  12. I don’t care if they do leave. Said it many times and will continue. That being said, I don’t think they will. Just don’t expect me to support it with taxpayer money. Some will and that’s fine.
  13. Oh don’t let the “fuck yous” fool you. I’m not upset by any stretch. Just tired of the stupidity. Trey seems to be in a constant state of “I’m underpaid”, which he may be. However he signed the contract and has since had it reworked. Fuck off. Katie obviously still doesn’t understand that while it may in fact be hard to run an NFL football team, you can make it harder when you say dumb shit. So my position hasn’t changed with those two. Just fuck all the way off.
  14. Yeah was happy about that. He had committed to them early and has now shut down all recruitment to solidify Ohio State. Happy for him and hoping his commitment will bring some others. Happy for him, he’s a good kid. Watched him play a lot in high school before he moved out to Cali.
  15. I hope so because ours suck
  16. Said it handful of times and will say it again… I don’t think the DE we may take at #17 is going to be significantly better than the one we can get in the 2nd round. Myles does have me gun shy as well.
  17. Walked on water, raised people from the dead, let alone the whole son of God. Pretty sure he could toss a screen pass. Not sure what his RAS score was or how PFF rated him, but he was a blue chipper for sure. Probably where the term “Generational talent” came from.
  18. If that were to equate to every week of behaving in church = 1 sack and there being 17 weeks in the season, that would be enough to get me back into church !! SACKS FOR THE LORD !!!
  19. Yes, yes I am !! Geno is my boy !!
