For those counting, today is day 1.

fwiw there’s this nugget in the piece:

Quote

Bell had a good start Monday. He hooked up with some of the guys out on a field in Sycamore to go through some conditioning. It turned into a veritable Buckeyes' reunion. In the group were Burrow and right end Sam Hubbard, two guys he knew in Columbus.

So Burrow is in Cincy.

Cheap, too. $9 million per is NFL chump change. If he’s half as good as advertised he’ll be vastly underpaid from opening day. And if he’s everything we hope he’s going to get Mahomes money in a few years.

And speaking of Patrick, he found something to do with all that cash.

Maybe Joe can buy the Reds.

Just need to get the free agents their physicals and sign their deals now. Reader, Bell et al.

progress.

Per Hobs they start physicals Sunday so I’d expect a flurry of announcements Sun/Mon/Tues.

Hopefully none of the FAs fail.   It's been a long time since March.

Reader, Bell, Wayans and MacKenzie have all been seen in various workout videos and appear to be in fantastic shape. Reader actually down 20 pounds. Bynes is a pro, he will be ready. I don't foresee any issues.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals won't begin their strength and conditioning program at Paul Brown Stadium until next week, but that hasn't stopped Joe Burrow and other players from working out together.

The rookie quarterback was joined by Jonah Williams, Drew Sample and Auden Tate for a workout at Black Sheep Performance on Thursday.

It's good to see more and more players going to the training facility, which is located in Blue Ash — a suburb of Cincinnati.

Sam Hubbard trained their with Sample throughout the offseason. Burrow started going there when he reported for training camp on July 23.

Other players that have worked out at Black Sheep including D.J. Reader, Logan Wilson, Markus Bailey and Freedom Akinmoladun.
