Forum Upgrade
It's that time of the year again. Within the next week or so the forum will be upgraded. I will try and give a little bit of an advance notice on a date and time, but once I'm ready for the upgrade I may go ahead and do it. So if you experience problems accessing the forums in the next week that last for a while, the forums may be being upgraded.
As before with other upgrades we may be stuck with the default forum skin until I get one prepared.
The upgrade will bring new features such as:
Link Sharing
Easily share links from your Bengalszone Forums to Facebook, Twitter, and more.
Status Updates
Enhancements to the existing member status system in IP.Board to include the ability to reply and more.
Topic Preview
Preview the first few lines of a topic without loading the entire topic.
Twitter Integration
Members will now be able to link their account with their Twitter account.
Improved Facebook Integration
Further enhance the link between the forum and Facebook. (Bengalszone didn't have Facebook integration with the previous upgrades because of the problems it was causing on other boards. This feature will be active with this upgrade.)
All New Mobile Skin
Mobile skin for many popular devices to enable easy access to the Bengalszone Forums.
Automatic Media Embedding
Automatic parsing of YouTube and other media into posts.
