GH: Rookie wide receiver Tab Perry has been rumored to be getting switched to safety this spring.

CB: That’s up to the guy down the hall (Lewis). It’s a situation where we have a very talented young man that can play either way. We looked at it this year because of the depth problem. We had him in there playing some DB (last) year. It’s been discussed. Where it goes is up to the guy down the hall.

Props from Brez to Tab for his talent, this could be exciting, if Brez is this enthused about his ability!

Tab Perry at safety? I say we put the topic back to bed. He's too valuable right where we have him. Madieu will be back, so let's be patient and let everyone (Carson included) heal up.

I think that this has to be the 12th time that this subject has been approached. Tab Perry would, in my opinion, be a good safety...if given enough time to develop. We need help now at safety and he wouldn't bring it just yet. We also need WR depth, and he instantly brings that. I'd say give him as many reps at WR, and maybe toy with the safety thing a little on the side.
