cincy90
One of my buddies called me this morning and said that 700 was reporting that Kimo received the gameball last week. Between that and pictures that show that queer wrapping up Carson's knee, nobody will convince me that the hit was accidental. When you are blocked into a player, you don't have to wrap up his knees. Everyone coming out right after it happened and talking about how good a guy he is killed the issue instantly. It's a way too much of a coincidence that a D-lineman is rolling around and twisting Carson's knee on the very first pass he threw. They couldn't stop our offense, but they did take out the 1 player that makes it all work. I hope we draft more defenders with Odell's mentality, and knock some people out when we play them next year. Who else is making plans to go to Heinz next year? NJ29
[sarcasm] Yet another example of that famous Steeler class. [/sarcasm]
WhoDey93285
I am going to try and get tickets to both Steeler/bengals games next year. I think we should try to take over Heinz like Pitt took over CIncy for so many years.
ArmyBengal
I haven't seen anything to confirm Kimo got the gameball or not, but looking at both NFL.com and ESPN.com, neither had Kimo credited for even ONE tackle. "IF" this is true, I would like to retract any and all statements in which I stated giving Kimo and the Steelers the benefit of the doubt. "IF" this is true, I wish BAD BAD things upon the enitre Steeler organization until the day I die. Call me unclassy, unprofessional, or whatever clever name you can come up with, but I call this action absolutely rediculous and in great need of being addressed further... If this is untrue, my stance will remain the same as previously stated. For the hope of all things good, I hope this is untrue. Boy, talk about fuel to the fire. Does anyone else see bad things happening in the next Steelers game ??WHODEY !!!

Jet23
I really doubt that Kimo Van Kneecapper was given the game ball, but I do know that he was not as upset as he claims. I play ball with a guy with seats above the tunnel and he said that at half time Kimo replied to shouts of cheap shot, by flexing his biceps and saying 'thanks man'. Now, I know that there was probably some pretty serious stuff yelled at him, but it certainly doesn't jive with his claim that he was sick to his stomach and could barely play.Enough already with the 'Kimo is a great guy and wouldn't do it crap'. We still owe him a BIG one!

cincy90
Yes, I do believe my friends. Yes, 700 WLW is a credible source. No, I would not be surprised if Kimo received the game ball. If I said what I actually think about the Steelers, Steeler fans, Cowher, and the organization, I would probably be thrown off the board. Stripes
Congrats to our new mod. I just noticed. I was wondering how long it would take you. What the hell are you studying up there anyways? Thanks. I'm doin' the easy stuff now, just a bunch of undecided major general classes.I really doubt that Kimo Van Kneecapper was given the game ball, but I do know that he was not as upset as he claims. I play ball with a guy with seats above the tunnel and he said that at half time Kimo replied to shouts of cheap shot, by flexing his biceps and saying 'thanks man'. Now, I know that there was probably some pretty serious stuff yelled at him, but it certainly doesn't jive with his claim that he was sick to his stomach and could barely play.If these accounts are true, then that certainly should bring Kimo's actions into question. Still, I am sure he was expecting that sort of treatment going into the tunnels and was prepared to respond with some sort of strong will. He chose the wrong method for such it seems, but still, it doesn't mean his original metality surrounding the play was any different.
