scott91575
From the AP...Reuben Droughns rushed for 88 yards in the loss to become the first Browns running back to reach 1,000 yards in a season since 1985.Sure, they took a few years off, but that is terrible. Stripes
Terrible indeed. Almost as terrible as a franchise spending 14 straight full NFL seasons without any appearances in the playoffs.
schweinhart
Droughns looks like he'll be a problem for the Bengals this week without Madieu to save the day like he did last year on MNF.Hopefully, Ohalete will learn how to use his arms to tackle by Sunday because shoulder-first hits ain't gonna bring Droughns down when he hits the second level. AMC
If you were Romeo which option would you go with???A) Run Droughns against a porous Bengals run D and protect your rookie QB by setting up the play action passOR let your rookie QB sling it against the NFL's best ball-hawking CBsThe answer is sooooo obvious it scares me a little....Maybe the Browns come out throwing...HA! I can dream can't I???

If I was Marvin I'd have Odell on Droughns like a s**tty diaper on a baby's a$$!

NYBengalfan
Does not matter we will still murder the Clowns, no matter how much they run we will load up the box and make Charlie Frye beat us!Ray Lewis: "Did somebody say murder?? derekshank
The Browns have the 19th ranked rushing offense. Why are we scared again? We stopped them the first game of the season, and since then have faced teams that run the ball better than them... including Chi, Ind, Pit x2, Jax, and Hou.Droughns has over 1000 yards because he's the only decent RB they have... and they can't throw the ball. To compound matters, Braylon Edwards is out for the season... so they only have 1 legitimate WR. We have certainly faced better offenses than the Browns, and come out vicrtorious... Ease your worried minds.

Perhaps a repeat of last year's Ohio Shootout, except rather than 58-48, it'd be 58-3.
AMC
I hate to say it, but if you are a number one back in the league you SHOULD get 1000 yards in a 16 game season...it's more a testament of being healthy all year than anything.... Who? I didnt do it!!"Please.. I think Droughns could run over the Bengals defense like he has done all year, your front seven aren't that great, and your safetys suck without Williams out there. I don't think the Bengals should overlook the Browns, we almost beat Jacksonville last week, and well.. We know how the Bengals faired against them this year. We know how the Bengals faired against them this year. We almost came back to win during primetime in Jacksonville against the Leftwich led Jaguars. Your Brownies blew a late lead at home to David Garrard. Enough of that!By the way kiddo, ol' Chuckie Frye looked alright last week... perhaps he has himself a solid future in this league... Kind of reminds me of Kyle Orton going into his game against Cincy... Shall I mention those statistics?

Haha David Garrard is a bad ass backup, and you know this if you know as much about the NFL as I do, personally I think he should have been their quarterback of the future, but that's just me. Oh yeah... Kyle Orton has been terrible all year! I hope that Charlie surprises all of you Bungaloids.. the only one I have respect for is the one that stole the ball from Brett Favre during the game, now that is bad ass. JPW
Terrible indeed. Almost as terrible as a franchise spending 14 straight full NFL seasons without any appearances in the playoffs.Excuse me but, it is a lot harder to make the play-offs than it is to have a 1000 yard rusher and TWENTY years without one WTF ??? JPW
I don't think the Bengals should overlook the Browns, we almost beat Jacksonville last week, and well.. We know how the Bengals faired against them this year.Yea the Browns loss to the Jags by SIX Points was SO MUCH CLOSER than the Bengals loss by THREE Points.Especially when you take into account that for your game the Jags starting QB and star RB were out, their Center played much of the game injuried and of course the game was in your house.Maybe you should "think" Before you post ?However I do agree with your main point and the Bengals will not be overlooking the Browns.Right now, it is The BIGGEST Game of The Season for us. Come on, any team no matter how many games they lose can still produce a 1000 yard rusher, TWENTY YEARS without one WTF ?How the hell can you even do that ?I mean you would think that at least one guy would stumble into a 1000 yard season over that much time.Remember now, a 1000 yards rushing is not what it once was, not with 16 games to do it in, and in fact the last time the Browns did it you had TWO guys do it in the SAME year, you guys "win" this hands down, that was a LOT HARDER to do than to just miss the play-offs.But you are right, we both did suck for a long time. scott91575
Worse, but not as bad as never even going to a Super Bowl and having your team leave town. Congrats on those whopping two wild card playoff appearances in those years.
HairOnFire
Funny stuff. We've got a Brownie fan trying his best to talk smack by bragging about the injury ravaged team Cleveland ALMOST beat. That's just sad.
