dave
I've always loved Chad and even wished that the national media would concentrate on his hard work ethic and friendly talk with other players (vs. the more ugly trash talk some guys do) instead of trying to portray him as the next TO or whatever. But tonight, he crossed line.Holding up the "TO, I get you baby" sign after the TD was BULLs**t. I've never been more pissed off by a Cincinnati athlete -- the fact that he would even be *thinking* of contract issues and TO in the middle of a huge game shows that his head isn't where it needs to be.(Edited. Didn't mean that part. Posting while too wound up from the game!)dp
The_Next_Big_Thing
I think you are over reacting by a longshot.
Whur CHad At?
How could you say that?! He is our best player and w/o him we would suck and you would be wishing we had him. The Man said two years ago he wanted to be a Bengal for life and continues to say that today. How many players would of said that then and are saying it now? You are hating on Cincy's most beloved player, so please stop.
dave
Overreacting, you think? How much better could Chad be if he weren't even thinking about contract issues DURING A GAME?WhurChad, Palmer is the Bengals best player, and if you're wondering about the impact of an a**h*** primadana, you might want to check out how many such players were on the Pats the last few years. We can win without him. Screw him.
The_Next_Big_Thing
Chad wasn't thinking about contract issues during the game.
PMThor
dave is a shmuck. Maybe, just maybe Chad was talking to the fact that TO was sitting on the sidelines watching others play, and this had nothing to do with contracts or being kicked off the team. Oh did I mention the fact that you have absolutely no insight, so you have no idea what Chad meant? Neither do I to be honest, but get off your high horse and realize that what he wrote might just be meant for TO and not the idiotic fan. Whur CHad At?
Yeah why would he be thinking about them? That is a stupid remark and those of you who beleive he was are stupid. I mean Chad did catch 8 passes for 189 yards and a TD tonight, but I mean he is a peice of crap and we don't need him right? He is such a cancer for our team. Damn. Idiots.I cant wait till he does something good and funny again and you all will be praising him.
bengalbutch
Chad is a winner and a team player, if he is friends with TO. Big deal, get a grip Dave, he is one of our best player in team history.

dave
Hey, maybe you guys are right. Time will tell. Physically, he's great, but how long before his attitude costs the team? I'd bet money that Marvin won't be happy about the sign when he finds out. All I know is that I'm a lifelong fan and Isaac or Cris wouldn't have pulled that BS. I guess we'll see. Thanks for the comments, y'all.dp

I'll put up with a sign or two any week to get that type or production. Now please, go suck on your thumb somemore and calm down. We are into WEEK 11 and the BENGALS are in 1st PLACE!.WHODEY. hottub
We are into WEEK 11 and the BENGALS are in 1st PLACE!.Eh... not quite. We have the same record as the Steelers, who have one more divisional win than we do... and unfortunately, that win was against us.Old School vrs New Skool. There is no such thing as "New Skool". How can you have "skool" without any "klass"? The only thing that saves Chad Johnson from being a selfish jerk is that his quarterback has the personality of a tuna. Acting out the way he does takes media pressure off Carson-boy, who doesn't seem willing or able to handle it. If that ever changes, expect this team's chemistry to melt down in hurry. walshfan
Yeah Dave, 8 catches for 189 yards proves his head wasnt in the game..Was yours???
2ndyearBengal
Chad and T.O are friends. I think he was just supporting T.O. because of that... sometimes you have to do that with friends even when they're wrong. Don't think it has any implications for contract holdout, etc... gmoertle
I honestly didnt take that sign as him wanted to redo his contract....did Chad in the off season tell his Agent "Drew I am T.O.'s agent too" That DREW WORKS FOR CHAD, and CHAD DONT WORK FOR DREW. When Drew tried to tell Management that Chad was going to sit out Training camp unless he got his contract reworked?Atleast thats something I heard all the way over here in Sacramento, CA. Maybe if I still lived in Forest Park I would of heard something else like Chad is a cancer and wants to rework his contract or he'll sit out. Chad definantly ain't no Corey "Crybaby" Dillon or Carl "Management Sucks" Pickens.Dave i suggest you take a look at the stats again. LIke others said 8 for 189 1 TD tells me he had his head in the game the entire time. And it was Palmer's INT that cost use the game. It happens we move on and focus on Baltimore next.Hate to say it but hopefully PITT gets em in Indy next week. That Was an AWESOME!!! BengalsMan3203
One hell of a weekend for Ohio Fans....OSU beating of Michigan and that will be replayed as a Insta Classic on Tuesday I believe and then the dog fight down in the Nasty Nati' on Sunday... I'm sure we'll see some time of reply of the game, either being Game of the Week, or Insta Classics....

AMC
Dave, the fact that you wished injury on anyone is total bullcrap. Never wish injury on anyone, not even your worst of football enemies. For instance, as much as I HATE Big Ben, I want him playing. Or any Browns player, even if that player is an a@@ like Kellen-Part Two. There is rivalry and then there is idiotic comments like that.
