walshfan
Todays game may be a pivitol moment in Odell's career as being one of the best MLB's in football.A passing of the baton if you will....The transition could take place in Baltimore as Ray Lewis and company watch the "New Sheriff in Town" take no prisoners when it comes to being a force to be reakoned with....Im hoping to see Thurman's high octane attitude go up even more than normal and his teammates to feed off that enthusiasm as well... Stripes
I wonder if we will see any respect handed from Odell to Ray Ray. It'd be worthy, like in 2003 when we played Oakland and Chad Johnson followed Jerry Rice around like a little kid at Disney World.I think Thurman should have himself a solid game. We'll see if he deserves to be compared to Ray Lewis, but he hasn't done anything yet to sway Marvin himself from that claim.
Dan2330
Kind of a quiet game for O-Dog, except for that jump play he got faked out on
bengalindian
Yeah, he's gotta stop falling for that pump fake and stay on the ground. But otherwise he did well, though no sacks or picks. He'll learn and come around.
ShulaSteakhouse
The improved play of Simmons, Thorton and Landon the last 2 weeks have been nice to see on defense. All 3 of those guys were key today and had great games.Odell gets his tackles, but he's not causing a lot of havoc in the backfield or scaring any Rb's yet. That said he has all the potential in the world - he'll be great if he wants to be.
HoosierCat
That said he has all the potential in the world - he'll be great if he wants to be.Dead on. Experience, discipline and study...that's the key. I see a lot of complaints about LB coach Ricky Hunley around these parts -- but really, what has Hunley had to work with? Odell's growth (or lack thereof) will tell the tale on him.
