The Ratbirds defense won't be #2 for long without Ray Ray and Ed Reed holding thing down... If those two are still out the following week when we come to town, Palmer will have a field day...

WHODEY !!!

the packers are hurting bad but they do still have farve . i think the packers are going to have to throw the ball alot and if they do that plays right into the strength of our defense . i think we bounce back with a 27 -10 win GO BENGALS!!!!!

I don't think the line should be this much in our favor. Yes, we are coming off of an embarassing loss, yes we are at home, and yes the Packers are in shambles. Still, the Bengals have looked bad in pretty fundamental ways of late, and no game will be a gimme.

I think the line increase reflects Green being out. That means the Pakcers will have to rely on the pass, which plays to the strength of our D. On the flip side, GB's defense has been vulnerable through the air. S Mike Logan was hurt Sunday and was reportedly undergoing an MRI today; his replacement is a rook. I'm not predicting it...yet, at least...but it isn't hard to see a Bengals blowout next weekend.

Is anyone else worried that we will turn Tony Fisher into the breakout running back of 2005? That seems to happen to us when the opposition is without their starter (a la Chester Taylor last season <_< ) . I am kidding actually. If anything we should be able to pad our defensive stats Sunday in the takeaway and run defense categories. I could very well see Favre throwing three picks simply because of the number of times I expect him to be throwing the ball.

Could this game be anymore unlike the Steelers game? The Packers have no defense, a bad running game, and a gunslinger at quarterback. This is exactly what we need, hopefully we take advantage.

I don't see Fisher having even an "OK" day. The Pack line is for Shat.

The beating the Pack is about to endure will be nothing short of criminal.

I'm still p*ssed

The Drunken One whips out some new red zone wrinkles, throwing 12 times inside the 20 to the stonehanded Reggie Kelly completing 3 for 4 yards and 0 TDs. Bengals settle for 5 FGs. Only TD is a 75 yd run by Rudi up the gut and Rudi finishes game w/ 2 carries for 102 yards.

Packers 23

Bengals 22

And Brett Favre gets injured w/ Packers down 22-9 to start the 4th Q, sending in Aaron Rodgers for his shot at becoming another Green Bay packer legend.

Attention all fantasy owners:

Start Tony Fisher even if you have to bench Tomlinson to do it. :)

I have been seriously contemplating picking Fisher up to replace Jamal Lewis...

Good God, Joisey, you sure are wanting to see one of these scoreboard smokers!

Last year's mayhem w/ the Clowns left me nauseated and numb, and it wasn't the Warsteiner. I felt like I had to ride a roller coaster over and over again for 3+ hours and really had no idea what had happened by the time it was over

But if that's the way it goes, so be it so long as the Bengals got the most points by the end and there's enough bevrage to last to the finish.

It'll be interesting to see how Brat calls this one and how Carson audibles. I'm liking your projections for Chad, Housh, and Rudi.

I'm really wondering how they will fit Chris Perry into the scheme, part about what his production will be as much as what it would cost the team by having him in there. Except for the Bears game, which was on wet sod (Kryptonite to a Superstar like Perry) Perry has produced well on the ground vs. 4-3 defenses because he can bounce it out. This Packer D is fast at 2 LB spots and 1 end, but if Perry can get past the front 7 all I can say is Mark Roman

I'm just trying to help out the bettors. If I predict nearly 80 points scored...then the under is a lock!

In/out update: per da site, Pollack, S. Smith, Askew, Ghaicuic, Fanene and Luchey are all inactive for the game...

But hey, Carl Plowed is expected to play...

Personally, I don't see any circumstance where Carl Plowed should be active over Shaun Smith, but this game don't look like the blunder it was last week. The run D up the middle should not be a factor at all this week. Still, it'd be nice to get a DT to blow up some plays in the backfield w/ some bullrush.

The one inactive that's got me a little concerned is Ghiaucic. That leaves Richie to hold the fort the whole game w/o missing any plays unless Steinbach moves over to center again.

Thank God they signed Luchey
