The Game of the Decade for the Bengals

I always wondered what it would take for a Bengals game to top his 1st and 10 list. Now we know.

Yeah, your answer is that they are leading the division, and playing Pittsburgh ... which just so happens to be the city where Clayton grew up. He often calls in to the sports shows around here, always pumping the Steelers.

He's pissing me off. I think the game of the decade was the Jacksonville game in 2000 when Scott Mitchell came in and won the game. I think that was the "Kitty Litter game" in December. They had sand and spray paint on the field since it had snowed the night before. John Clayton's got it all wrong.

And as far as the Bengals "easy" schedule. 14 of the 16 games are the same for the Steelers and the Ravens and the Browns. We are playing KC and Buffalo while Pittsburgh plays SD and NE. But they play Houston, Minnesota, Green Bay, etc. just like we do.

There's no easy schedule in the NFL anymore - no such thing.

Bengals still have to play Pitt twice a year, KC, et al...,

Just think if they were in the crappy AFC South or NFC North and had to play those dregs twice a year.

Easy schedule is BS - but beating a truly good team would go a long way in winning over some skeptics, including myself to an extent.

That game was bad ass, the BEST and I MEAN THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Punt return for a td in NFl history took place that game.

When Peter warrick returned a punt 90yds...but probably ran about 200yds making like 9 guys miss tackle him.

Catches the ball, Cuts right...reverses up field to the left, cuts back across the middle, jukes 3 guys out. Cuts back down rthe left side, make 2 more miss.

Then bobs and weaves the punter and 1 more jag, and flys past them into the Endzone.

i wish i could see that Play again, was the Definition of amazing.

Now days that play would definitely be called back for illegal blocks or holding. It's practically impossible for a returner to run all over the field without someone committing a penalty (not only the Bengals) :)
