membengal
From the update on .com:"The Pittsburgh media quizzed Lewis Wednesday on his decision not to allow players to do most national interviews leading up to Sunday's game. So don't be surprised if you don't see them on ESPN this week. "Every time there’s a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. It’s a long football season," Lewis told the Steelers' media. "I find myself spending too much talking about nothing. Let’s just do our thing. Where was everybody last week? They weren’t here. There’s no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let’s just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point you deserve to have attention. But right now we haven’t earned anything." Damn skippy Marvin. With you 100%.
Stripes
Good post, and good words from a smart man. I am sure they had no argument for him.

cincyhokie
Those whiny Pittsburgh bitches....that does not surprise me. I also got a kick hearing about how their fans are upset that they could not buy single tickets to the Cincy-Pitt game this year.Deal with it!!! membengal
I love cj as much as the next bengals fan, but i have always cringed at the bulletin board stuff as adding just an extra layer of unneeded noise during game weeks. I am enjoying not having the whole "chad should have shut his mouth" stuff coming from the Steelers camp and their fans. Putting all of their effort into winning this game is the main thing. The lack of yapping has been rather pleasant.

Whur CHad At?
As for the focus issue, Carson Palmer was asked this week to be on the David Letterman show, I think on Tuesday or Wed., and he denied saying, "I have a football game to prepare for."(I'll try to find a source for that)Love the focus and atitude of the Bengals this week. NYBengalfan
Carson is the man, he's a supestar yet he's down to earth and he's humble about success.

He posted here often during 2003, a few times in 2004, and I'm yet to see anything from him in 2005. I did see him once hanging out with some of his old drinking buddies:God I used to hate these guys! Beating this Steeler team sure wasn't easy!
