WhoDey93285
CONGRATS CHRIS! First career TD for Perry I believe! Now, maybe thatr will give us some momentum to take into the half.
HoosierCat
TD Chris Perry! O finally woke the hell up.
AMC
rest of the game just run the no huddle/two minute drill...dang...carson's comp. % is unreal! We need to slow down the run....what a broken record that is!
WhoDey93285
Anyways, our defense...sucks. I don't know who that was earlier in the year, but damn, we've shown our true colors these last two weeks. I mean, damn, we couldn't stop Kijana Carter.I think we'll be alright if we can score on our first possesion. Otherwise, they'll score, and we're down 17-7 and it doesn't look good from there. schweinhart
Looking about like last week. In a better position though to get stoked, plus Bengals get ball to start 3rd Q unlike last week. But Palmer is completely on target. The defense got screwed w/ short fields but did well enough for the Titans not to jump up too bad.The problem w/ this game IMO is 2 costly decisions that shortened the field.1. Graham FG miss. But it was well within his range and you got to take the chance there.2. 4th and 1 foot to Rudi. This just doesn't work. Do something else or try to draw the D offsides or take the penalty and punt.
WhoDey93285
And I think it's time to take into serious consideration to give Perry more carries. Split the time. Perry has realyl really impressed me lately. He needs the ball.
HoosierCat
Well, that was a pretty ugly first half. Run D still stinks, short yardage playcalling is predictable, and that decision to go for it on 4th and inches a killer. Down 7-0 you cannot risk giving them the ball again near midfield, esp. when your D hasn't been able to stop them.Let's hope they come out in the second half and drive down for a score. Need to do it.
AMC
I am a little worried about the lack of big plays by the D...it may take a big stop or turn-over to win....chris perry is active today, thats a good sign going into the 2nd half....Where is Henry today? Walter was a stud on the last drive....
UK Bengal
i would go in the chat room if people didnt say what happens before i hear it on the radio kinda gets annoying.we needed that TD and i think rudi is not earning his money those short yardage situations are his bread and butter and he shd be powering through it, tho a sneek would have been a better call maybe protecting carson ? turningpoint
Um so i over slept, and turn on the game to see carson go 9/9 for 70yds and a td, wtf happened before that????Good God.
Stripes
My halftime thoughts:The run defense is still bad. Very bad. This time it isn't overpursuit, it is just a bad game out of the defensive line. The pass rush has looked good, but amounted to no sacks and no turnovers.Palmer is the man.Perry is the man.Bratkowski sucks. Ox
Well basically our D cannot stop the run to save it's life, and Carson is a hell of a passer.
schweinhart
And I think it's time to take into serious consideration to give Perry more carries. Split the time. Perry has realyl really impressed me lately. He needs the ball.It looks like they are splitting the time and even tried to go no huddle w/ Perry in but it backfired. They also started Rudi and Perry, which also backfired because it stripped Rudi of JJ as lead blocker. Perry did have a nice cut block on an LB in open field to give Palmer time to run wide for a few yards.Perry is as sure-handed of a receiving RB as they come, but I hope Brat don't pull his Martz pud just yet.I'd like to see them come out in the I and run Rudi down their throats. turningpoint
well not seeing the 1st half, i think the bengals look decent Vs the run on paper, the titans have only had 2 good drives, they just got the running game going on those series, the other series they were shutdown. schweinhart
Perry's great w/ shovel pass, great w/ draw, but somebody's needs to have their brain vacuumed out if they're gonna give it to him on 3rd and G from the 1.Palmer needs to be taught how to run a QB sneak because this sh*t is getting about as ridiculous as the MFerring penalties.
