HoosierCat
Awwww...widdle Tommy Bwady doesn't like mean ol' Marty Schottenheimer...http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/...rticleid=105823Worth a read just for that comment of his including Corey Dillon in the catagory of "leader." Yeah, the "leader" who's declared he isn't talking to the media any more since he's stunk so far and so they quit kissing his a**. Let the implosion of the Patriots commence. Let the implosion of the Patriots commence. And everything seemed so "Hunky-Dory" too after the win in Pittsburgh just a couple weeks ago. They lose one little home game, and the "Good Ship Lolipop" starts going down faster than Jenna Jamison in a XXX flick! It's amazing what a wee bit of adversity will do to a teams chemistry. I'll be watching Leon for signs of imminent uniform chucking!
BengalByTheBay
All I know is if the Pats are counting on guys like Dillon for leadership ... ain't gonna be no snoballs thown in the air come December in the razor. CD has a wafer thin skin and no tolerance for difficulty. Can't wait for the unavoidable locker room meltdown from him when this streak of non-100 yard games inevitably continues. Where last year the media couldn't wait to jump on the "he's a changed man" bandwagon, they will be just as happy to dredge back up every ridiculous selfish comment he made as a bengal and, I suppose, the story will be what...how the mighty have fallen? Should be fun.Oh and speaking of fun -- Tom Brady going after Shottenheimer's playoff record -- priceless.
Stripes
Mr. Brady isn't accustomed to playing .500 football, and it shows. He gets his publicity through being The Winner in this league, as does his coach and his team. Despite being the lastest dynasty, they do not want to fall off of their mountain, but I fear they already have. Now it is Cincy's turn to come out of the NFL abyss and win some Superbowls... Junglelove4
Honestly, as much as i love seeing the patriots fall flat on their face, I still wouldn't count them out.. . .... yet.
Stripes
Honestly, as much as i love seeing the patriots fall flat on their face, I still wouldn't count them out.. . .... yet. Nor would I, but only because of their suddenly horrible division. The AFC East was supposed to be one of the strongest in football this year, but with the Jets QB situation, and Losman's struggles, the Patriots should be able to win it. That is, of course, if the Dolphins ever slow down.
Ox
Jim Rome was ALL OVER Leon the other day. Talking about how you can take the Dillon out of Cincy, but you can't take the crybaby out of Dillon. Freaking awsome.

Talking about how you can take the Dillon out of Cincy, but you can't take the crybaby out of Dillon. Freaking awsome. Wonderful indeed. As more media people take notice, and report in this manner, Dillon's antics will get worse. We will all get to thumb our noses towards Foxboro, and smile a happy smile. schweinhart
Hopefully the Pats do fade away. It got old last year hearing how Dillon wanted shed of the hapless Bengals just to get a shot at a Super Bowl. A few more losses this year and Dillon will start his sh*t up for real. He's a flat out head case.
BengalszoneBilly
Can't wait for the unavoidable locker room meltdown from him when this streak of non-100 yard games inevitably continues.I didn't expect it, but it looks a though Corey may get his 1st 100 yarder today in Atlanta. It's 14-13 New England at the half, and Dillon has 76 already. All that aside, I don't thing it will be lack of 100 yard games that sets off a "Corey Crying Fit," more than a poor team record and not making the playoffs. HoosierCat
Mister Fumbles isn't talking today...big surprise...Momentum dropped when fumble was lostBy Jerome Solomon, Globe Staff | November 8, 2005FOXBOROUGH -- Corey Dillon again struggled, rushing for just 40 yards on 12 carries in last night's 40-21 loss to the Colts, and it was his fumble that may have turned the tide.Trailing, 14-7, in the second quarter, the Patriots had taken possession on a Mike Vrabel interception and put together a drive they hoped would result in the tying score.Unfortunately for them, Dillon had the ball ripped from him on a first-down carry from the Indianapolis 17 by Dwight Freeney as he ran to the left side. Jason David scooped it up for the Colts, who then drove 73 yards for a touchdown and double-digit lead that they never surrendered. The turnover was particularly painful, as the Patriots had converted a third-and-23 on the drive after taking a 12-yard loss on a sack on the first play following the interception. Tom Brady hit David Givens for 35 yards to the Colts' 31 to keep the drive going.Dillon has just one 100-yard game this season, after posting nine last year when he rushed for a team-record 1,635 yards. Dillon has just 441 yards this season. The Patriots rushed for just 34 yards last night, their worst output of the season. New England ran for only 39 yards in a loss at Carolina Sept. 18. They ran the ball only 14 times, and are now 0-6 under Bill Belichick when they run the ball 16 times or fewer.Dillon elected not to field any questions from the media after the game.''Y'all saw what happened," he said. BengalszoneBilly
Oh man, can you imagine having Dillon and Owens having hissies at the same time!?! That would be like listening to asshats in stereo!
redsfan2
I'm not going to waste any tears on the Pats ...... BUT ....... between the players the players and the coaches that have left and or been sidelined, the only resemblence this team has to the one of last year is the uniforms. Two years ago this 40 to 21 ass whipping goes the other way and Manning doesn't have that stupid grin on his face in the locker room. Colts have to play the team that's on the field, but it'd be llike us beating them without Manning ... Harrison, and James. It counts ... but it's just not the same. I mean, he just craps out good football players, right? Someone gets hurt, he trots off to the john, takes a crap, molds it into the shape of a man and boom! a pro bowler (no pun intended) right? Tough to credit the injury excuse, even if it is legit, in this case.
The_Next_Big_Thing
Did you hear the latest rumor? Dillon wants traded out of New England saying he lost a sock here in the stadium at Cincinnati and wants to come back to find it....
