Indycat
Look up "oft injured" in the dictionary and you find Askew and Brooks. They must have awsome potential to continue carrying this training room fodder.

Indycat
dumbasss That's "off-injured"?oft - Often. Often used in combination: his oft-expressed opinion; oft-repeated ignoranceLook it up!!
skyline
Definitely Brooks. Askew, I can understand. He was projected to be a first rounder this year. A lot of people saw potential in this kid.Brooks was drafted a little lower, but like Indy said, they must really like his upside.

That's "off-injured"? Insert foot into mouth.lolWhat's so funny is that he CAPITALIZED ONCE to hammer his point across.Hmm.....I seem to recall him being injured LAST YEAR, in ADDITION to, breaking his hand on the first day of camp. That would make it TWICE, not ONCE, dumbasss. ShulaSteakhouse
I'm suprised Jones got cut over Mitchell, but then again they signed and kept Ohalate, so they needed the more accomplished special teamer I suppose...

Spain
Askew must have put on some muscle, he is in a very similar position as Andrews. However he is always injured, I thought they would give up on him! This year he might have an impact! Marvin likes him!

DontTakeAkili
Craig Krenzel If I had the money and know-how, I'd start www.Ihatecraigkrenzel.com. And that's coming from a Bengals and Buckeyes fan. I think Bramlet has some real pro pontential.
ShulaSteakhouse
Bramlet really isn't that good. Krenzel did win 3 NFL games on a bad team, and a national championship. He has a terrible arm, but can come out of nowhere and make a big play like he did at the end of the Indiana game, or a week ago to Walter deep in the end zone.I think he was probably the right choice given the circumstances. HairOnFire
I just voted and saw that Greg Brooks is running away with this thing...making me think that none of you ever saw him play in college. I'm very happy he made the final roster. My vote? Tab Perry. I just watched Perry closely in the Colts game and all I can say is there are 4 or 5 better players on the practice squad. He looked great when I visited training camp.

Now that I do, he's my pick. I saw nothing from him to make me think he should beat out Cliff Russell for the return job. I've thought ever since he started, that Russell has steadily progressed as a return man with every try. Maybe Perry flashed some good hands in practice, with Russell's hands being nothing special. Or it could've been that Perry can't be too much of a downgrade, and even possibly and upgrade, at a rookie price.
BlainThePain
Definantly Brooks. I knew Perry was going to make the team as soon as I learned he was a good returner in college. What has me excited about Brooks is that Williams and Body played well at corner so that tells me they really like what Brooks can do. I remember watching him in college. He had good closing speed and a knack for getting a hand on the ball. I hope he really busts out. I would love to see us have four good corners. The article in this mornings Enquirer makes it clear that Perry got the nod over Russell due to his contract...which I assume had to do more with length than anything else. It's not a big deal, and it may not take long before he's up to speed, but watching perry against Colt backups showed a player who wasn't ready to go. (He dropped a pass and had multiple penalties.) I won't deny he has talent but I would have guessed he was headed for the practice squad.

Stripes
Mine isn't on the list ....... I thought Caleb Miller was history.me toooooooo!!! I like what I've seen from Caleb Miller. He's been injury proned, but he'll be healthy eventually, and when he is, he'll be an excellent contributor. This offseason, I've seen a lot of different websites posting Bengals depth charts listing him at 2nd string and some even at starter. They are obviously wrong, but it shows his talents haven't gone unnoticed.
BengalszoneBilly
Craig Krenzel Ditto. Bramlet is better. Krenzel got the job solely from his OSU connects. No way he's better than Casey. Shula said it best. His arm sucks. I'd rather he run the ball than throw it!
bengalbutch
If Cliff Russell was such a great return man, he would have been picked up by now.
