clevelandbengal
there was a great article on the bengals on espn.com. There was a huge front page picture of carson. Len Pasquerelli was giving the Bengals and Carson huge props. The only bad part was a lot of the Bengals news was "Insider" which means you have to pay for it. Does anyone actually pay for that crap? Stripes
http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation...g?event_id=1511Great article indeed. Now y'all go vote for your Bengals to do well. The rest of the country says 10 wins or more and a playoff spot. :player: who friggin dey

derekshank
WOW that is a GREAT idea (smuggling us the insider I mean). THANK YOU Rizzy. Actually it's a terrible idea, and could result in Bengalszone being shut down. Maybe you newbies don't care, but I love this place. I'm reporting this, and it will promptly be deleted.I appreciate the thought, but I don't want us to be shut down. Thanks anyway.

clevelandbengal
Thanks Rizzy. That didn't sound so good for warrick. Haven't heard Marvin speak so frankly about him and the Bengals moving on without him.
membengal
Thanks Rizzy. That didn't sound so good for warrick. Haven't heard Marvin speak so frankly about him and the Bengals moving on without him. Well, for godssake, ML has all but drawn Bengaldom a picture on Warrick. Wrrick simply isn't healthy. It sucks, but that's what it is. Time to stop holding a candle for him and move on apparently.

derekshank
It's all good. I figured you didn't know yet. My response was just doing what comes natural... you know, like a mother protecting her child, so I protect the Bengalszone!

In the middle of last season, Dave Lapham told Bengals fans the same thing several times - that Peter Warrick has a degenerative condition that will not really ever get better. I figured he probably knew as much as anyone since he has lots of insider contacts.

BengalszoneBilly
Sorry for posting that didn't know. Hey man. No biggie. You know now, so no problem, right? BTW, you can translate in your words/from your point of view, the main points of their articles here. It's just the Copy/Paste will be a problem, that's all. Rimington over Marino
Yeah I love this place where we all rehash what we read in Bengals.com and some try to prove they know more about football than Marvin Lewis. It is OK. Sean Salsbury thinks he knows more than a real football coach too. Anybody ever wonder why those geniuses at ESPN never had or never will have a real coaching job. I have even been guilty in the past. I always wanted a Sam Adams or Siragusa or Gilbert Brown type. Looks like Marvin wants DTs that are lighter on his feet. Tony Williams left, Bryan Robinson signed and Thornton lost weight. Some want a linebacker type strong safety to play the run. Since Marvin got here he has released Lamont Thompson, Cory Hall, Rogers Beckett, Jojuan Armour. He resigned Kevin Kaesviharn, signed Kim Herring, picked Anthony Mitchell off waivers and drafted Madieu Williams. Looks to me like he has the safeties he wants. More than anything I just like to keep up on the news that isn't being reported on bengals.com.Also, not to defend Salisbury, but he was asked to havea "real" coaching job in Arizona with Denny Green, and passed it up, because he liked working for ESPN.That said, I agree that Marvin Lewis knows what he is doing more than any of us, but reading between the lines of his vague statements, and attempting to understand his philosophy is always fun, and helps me know what to look for when the games get going. (i.e. My eyes will be deadlocked on Thornton and Robinson to see if they really can plug the gaps)
