Would anyone here venture a guess on the Bengals last shutout? (Not on the Bengals...BY the Bengals!) I honestly cannot recall it, that's for sure! :player:

1989 against Cleveland. I couldn't remember either, had to look it up.

why arent we runnin the clock?

They know they can't run the ball, no one can against them, they were trying to put the game away for good there, with good field position. That's twice CJ has been open and Palmer's missed him - granted they were both tough throws. If those two ever get things down they could have a Manning/Harrison type of career. It's frustrating to watch right now.

They gotta go through the air to have any chance of grtting back in this. Hope the secondary can hold out.

Of course you'd come up with the answer Terry. 1989 is ancient history, and is out the window now with their score! Oh well.

What was just s**t to go for the field goal. That was delibrately trying not to get shut out, not about winning.

Their defense is playing for pride in the second half, it appears to me! The Bengals just gotta hang in there and play good "D" as they have been, and Cincy will come outta here with a "W"! B)
