I am less concerned about whether they fire or keep existing FO and coaching personnel

My number 1 concern is solving the "first 3 games" problem

Second concern is the overall defense, though I think they found some keepers with the two new DTs, the new DE, and the 6th round corner

Third concern is the interior offensive line

Notice that I have yet to mention our two top WRs and their need for more money than I'd earn in 100 lifetimes?

When fans wanted Zac fired after his 2nd year.  Mike wrote an open letter basically saying "Well you wanted change".     Dead Cat Bounce is not applicable.   When that term was defined it was during an era of woeful football.  A couple late season wins masking a massive amount of under qualified players/coaches/front office.

Keeping Pollack and/or Lou would be exactly like Keeping Marvin/Dalton post 2015.    Convenience.  Which was confirmed in Mike's open letter.    The Bengals have raised expectations because they have accomplished higher results on the field.   National/Local/Fans may never give them credit and always revert back to the 90s but that is a bad take.    Mike was fine with that and probably would have brought Marvin/Dalton back for a lifetime vs. the risk of going backwards.

Lou or Pollack.   Keeping either one is a huge gamble.  Sure it could work and produce favorable results.  But the Bengals really need to get out of the lifetime coach business IF they aren't getting top tier results.    Lou/Pollack probably work as NFL coaches again at the same level if not retained by the Bengals.

Marvin/Dalton were a certain level of good.  Not playoff winners.   Bengals currently have a certain level very good but not enough to be champions.    I hope they take a chance a bring in new voices in those spots.    Then next year you have to put a target on Zac, IMO.

I will reiterate what I and others have said before.

I think they should all be fired.  Not really even a discussion when looking at expectations vs. results for the 2024 season.
I would at least be a little encouraged by seeing both Anarumo and Pollack being shown the door.
Just give this team a top 15 defense.  Middle of the road type shit.
Give Burrow a line that doesn't result in him being in the top 10, if not leading the league in sacks.  (NO, I don't care what he says about sacks)

However, as mentioned, I have no faith they will hire someone that is worth a shit or gave me real faith that things would improve.
If things don't improve with a fresh look on those two areas and they falter again in 2025, Zac shouldn't even make it to the end of the season.

This team just doesn't work that way.  It is content bringing back everyone and expecting better results.
I don't want to hear shit about close wins and if only McPherson this, or some other minutiae.
Burrow finished 2024 tied for 4th in sacks taken and the defense was towards the bottom of the league.
During four different games this year they scored: 33, 34, 38, and 38 and fucking lost.  Has that ever happened in league history in a single season?

But no, you check out the official site and you get a story about how the Bengals are "Looking to funnel '24's furious finish into '25".
FUCKING SERIOUSLY ?!?!  Does anyone REALLY believe how they ended this season will carry over when the season starts next September?

If so, you need to go play in highway traffic.
