First, I had no doubt this was going to be a win for them today, so not even a bit surprised by any of it.
Well, except the fact that Battle is a complete dumbass.

I spelled out the course for the Bengals to get to the post season in the Browns thread if anyone cares.

Oh yeah, Will Levis sucks fat donkey balls.  The Titans need to move on from him.

I didn’t see a single snap of the game yesterday (first time since 06) as was at the below. Even if you’re not a soccer fan, the sheer drama was great. My team won eventually but not before I was on the verge of a coronary episode. We also have 2 members of the USMNT - so we are, obviously, the good guys

Ok, so I missed it, but have seen it all over YouTube.
Zac and Burrow getting into a discussion on the sideline where the two obviously didn't see things the same way.

I know what the videos are saying and you can see Joe saying "F That", but no real context.
Zac of course was like, "It was just a conversation".

Honestly, there's not much of this coaching staff I would retain.
Whatever Zac has built during his time here, it has ran out of steam.
It doesn't seem like any of these players are buying into whatever is being offered up.

I suspect Zac was saying good job, Burrow was saying fuck that we suck.

And you were right! They caught the whole exchange for "Quarterback."

Taylor approached Burrow during the closing moments of the game, after a false start penalty.

"Hey, way to finish the day. That's a great drive to finish (the game)," Taylor says in the episode. "I know it's a frustrating -"

"That's an embarrassing performance by us," Burrow says. "F------ embarrassing."

"Listen, we'll address it," Taylor says. "We'll address it. But at the same time, let's enjoy some of these wins."

"F--- that. F--- that," Burrow says. "We sucked today. That was embarrassing. We jumped offsides f------ eight times."

"I know that. I know that. I know that, okay?" Taylor says.

Gotta say I am with Burrow on this one.

I like that Burrow takes issue with what's happening on the defensive side of things.
No doubt he knows those fuckers cost him an MVP push last season, let alone the playoffs.

Zac’s like let’s enjoy our participation trophy, Burrow’s like dude I play for real, gtfo.

It’s the organization in a nutshell. When the Bengals FO reaches the playoffs, they’re like Crewman Guy in Galaxy Quest: they’re just jazzed to be on the show. Faced with actually having to win, they crumble. If only there was some tentacled alien Katie could bang…

I always thought it was challenging to look at a coach and definitively label him as this or that.
There are so many variables that go into what kind of coach they are.
Having to deal with a front office and scouting staff that is out of your control has to offer challenges.
I think that's why you have coaches that have little success one place, but do well in others.
Also, what kind of players are you walking into?  Do you have any superstars are a roster devoid of talent?

I coached and played many years of soccer while in the Army and have coached youth soccer since retiring.
However, I don't have the foggiest idea of what it looks like at the NFL level, so maybe I'm way off...
