Went to the Reds game last night with ArmyBengal Jr. just as much to watch the Yankees play.

Aaron Judge bashes a 400ft bomb in his first at bat and everyone around us was like, "WHOOOOA" !!!
Reds fans high fiving because we got to see Judge be Judge.

To top it off Elly has a big game, mashes a dinger late and the Reds win 6-1.
As a bonus, the Reds had 13 K's and we got free pizza.

If they could manage a way for Steer and Strand to be hitting better than .200 they could be right there.

Reds are 6 games over .500 and half a game out of the wild card.  Guardians are 5 games over .500 and 1.5 games out of the wild card.

They were 8-1 on the Brewers last night and lost 10-8. Missed opportunity against the hottest team in the league right now. Brewers with a 13 game win streak. Maybe tonight.

They would be in if the season ended today, but it does not.
Tied with the Mets and a game up on the D-Bags and all have 6 games remaining.
This is the most excited I've been about the Reds in over 10 years.  I hope they get it done.

5 games remaining but finishing it off with three at the Brewers was always going to be tough.
Last night was a real let down though.  Right in the mix of things and you drop a game to a team 21 games under .500.

Well, they drop another one to the lowly Pirates, but both the Mets and D-Bags lost, so they remain 1 game out.
1 more against the Pirates tonight, before the final run in Milwaukee.

The Mets have 1 more at the Cubs and then their last 3 are at the Marlins.
The D-Bags have 1 more against the Dodgers and then their last 3 are at the Padres.

It's not over yet !!  Stranger things have happened.

Well they won last night, but so did the Mets.

3 games remaining, which starts tonight in Milwaukee and they are 1 game back.
The D-Bags lost, so they are 2 games back.

Reds obviously need to win, but the Marlins are now my 2nd favorite team to root for !!

Better luck next year Reds.

Hoping to see them make some additions to the team and have the younger players progress.
They seem to have some talent in the minors coming up as well.

Needless to say, I'm pretty happy the Reds made it back to the playoffs, despite the quick exit.
Next year holds some promise and I'm good with that.
