GapControl
Older LindseySports Annual Draft Profile: ( pre-combine ) DJ Turner Michigan 6 foot , 180 40 time: four minutes 56 seconds- 5th to 6th round Overview: three star recruit spent his first two seasons is depth and playing primarily special teams broke into the wolverine, secondary and collected 22 starts in his final two seasons in his final year started all 14 games as a key piece to the Wolverines Big Ten championship season after his stellar play was honored with all big 10 honors ( second team, coaches third team, media ). Strengths: Turner played on the outside for the Wolverines, and played a big part in their season-long defensive success. despite his lighter frame, did a nice job taking on contact and staying balanced, in order to mirror his assignment and make a play on the football. showcases high-quality patience and was able to play zone coverage with impressive, instinctual ability. As a downhill mover, closes well to crash on the football and add contest to throws, while capable of limiting additional yardage. Has plenty of special teams experience to help him stick around in the league as depth at the least. Pro-comp: Corn Elder, Free Agent - Grade 5.

Draft for stuff you can’t teach. You can’t teach speed, you can’t teach athleticism, and you can’t fix stupid.

He’s here because he’s a better corner than anyone on the roster.
TJJackson
I really like Chido and CTB.....this guy is faster, yes, and I do like the pick, but I am not sure he's better
ShulaSteakhouse
Apple replacement. A CB was going to happen in the top 3 rounds, Not issues here. Really makes me wonder what their plan is with the TE and the o-line though. But Turner should push CTB and be an option when Awuzie leaves. Can't argue with this one, good pick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGtB8hgzOg8
ArmyBengal
Holy cow does this Buckeye fan LOVE this pick. Not much more you could ask for in the 2nd when looking for a future starting outside corner. Considering injuries to others, his days of starting may come sooner. There are some ancillary aspects of this pick I love as well. Along with the fact he’s simply a really good CB, he was Dax Hill’s running mate in Michigan. That allows for familiarity and a level of comfort between those two as they grow into starters in this defense. Really pleased with this pick… A+
