my best guess - and I am very sad about this - is that they are targeting one of several WRs which arent being selected right now and ergo could afford to trade down

I hope I am not right - WR is a pick I will HATE here

and as you say, Army - we have zero need for all those 6th rounders

I guess the one think I dont dislike is that he does appear to be a 3 down TE, rather than just a blocker or a receiver....so there's that

Well, we did sign that backup slot corner and a backup DT and re-signed an injured linebacker who may or may not be ready to play by September and who wasnt good when he was healthy
