HoosierCat
Cris Carter too. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/05/09/report-ray-lewis-and-cris-carter-out-at-espn/ I kind of liked Carter but if that's the price for never having to look at Stabby again, I'll pay it. BengalszoneBilly
Stabby. That's good. As far as his departure from ESPN, I didn't feel he brought a lot to the show anyway.
HoosierCat
I'm pretty sure I have to credit "Stabby" to COB. He's got a way with words.
COB
Listening to Ray Lewis was kind of like getting stabbed. He was horrible. Everything was about respect, and be a man, take care of your business, blah blah blah. Viewers want insight, not your locker room inspirational speech. redsbengalsbucks
I don't know what he said, I turned it to the other channel whenever he came on
ArmyBengal
Yeah, I always loved the "Stabby" moniker. Good stuff. That being said, Ray always struck me as someone who didn't really "want" to add much more than the inspirational stuff. It was what he was known for as a player and he simply stuck with it after retiring. Problem is, as COB mentioned, fans don't tune in to hear that crap. Deion Sanders always struck me the same way. Nothing worth listening to.
