COB Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 We have to wait until Monday for this glorified practice? Kingwilly is right, this preseason is BORING! Probably good though, no major injuries and so far they look really good. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 Hopefully an injury free game.Just looking for much of the same as the first preseason game, a couple good drives, and get the starters out.Same for the defense a couple nice stops and get the guys out of there Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 ill be watching tonight if the firsts continue from last game against the gints them I will be more than happy. Interested to see what McCarron has to see if hes a viable backup. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 I'm excited to see McCarron as well, just because we have yet to see him play. Quote

HoosierCat Posted August 24, 2015 Author Report Posted August 24, 2015 Injury report from hobs:TAMPA _ The Bengals’ Not Expected To Play List grew a little longer than last week when head coach Marvin Lewis ruled out a dozen players for the preseason’s second game Monday night against the Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium. For the second straight game, starting right end Michael Johnson (knee), rookie backup left tackle Jake Fisher (shoulder), and starting right tackle Andre Smith (unknown) weren’t expected to play. Also shelved again were backup wide receiver Onterio McCalebb (hamstring) and backup guard Trey Hopkins (leg).A slate of players who were either injured against the Giants or during practice last week also weren’t expected to play: defensive tackle Pat Sims (thigh), cornerbacks Darqueze Dennard (hamstring) and Brandon Ghee (hamstring), as well as wide receiver Tevin Reese (hamstring).Plus, the three players yet to be activated from the physically unable to perform list (PUP) as they rehab knee injuries, starting WILL linebacker Vontaze Burfict, backup linebacker Sean Porter, and backup left tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, also weren’t expected to play.Rookie Tom Obarski is expected to make at least most of the kicks as Mike Nugent recovers from a sore muscle. Wallace Gilberry got the nod for Michael Johnson at right end and Eric Winston started for Andre Smith at right tackle. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 I often wonder if these guys are going full speed or what?TB o-line is pretty much all back ups Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 what's the bet we go 3-out and we all self destruct and scream 1-15 here we come Quote

volcom69 Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 Well UK if they were really trying on that drive then yes horrible defense. On that run 8 guys could have brought him down and nobody did, Dunlap just let the guy go lol Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 25, 2015 Author Report Posted August 25, 2015 Well, glad the D made the trip to Tampa... Quote
volcom69 Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 Nice to see Andy get out of the pocket, too bad the WR didn't get open Quote
UK Bengal Posted August 25, 2015 Report Posted August 25, 2015 I honestly don't think they do try until at least the 3rd game they are just getting scheme fit. If that was regular season the muscle hamster would have fell off his wheel. Quote
