cincyhokie
The Bengals have to make a call in the next few weeks whether to activate McCarron or shelf him.I'm interested to see what he can do, even if it is some action in garbage time. ShulaSteakhouse
Fire Marvin (or re-assign him), Alexander and Zampese, re-tool the defense and the 0-line, start McCarron (or anybody other than Dalton) and they rebound next season.I'm guessing, as usual, none of that really happens. gregcook68
You don't know this franchise very well.
generaldreedle
If he is activated at some point this year, I would love to see AJ McCarron play sometime this season. I just don't think Marvin Lewis has the balls to bench is boy Andy in favor of AJ McCarron.
Stripes
I wouldn't mind seeing some of McCarron in garbage time as Hokie suggested. As for actually benching Dalton for him -- that sounds completely pointless to me. If Dalton is to be replaced, do it with a high draft pick. generaldreedle
As far as replacing Andy Dalton with AJ McCarron, I was only talking about this year. If AJ McCarron plays in a few games, and plays well, we might not have to waste a high draft pick on a quarterback next year. Unless of course a stud falls into our lap in the first or second round.
