HoosierCat Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 http://www.nbcsports.com/footballs-odd-couple-has-bengals-rolling-playoffs(Actually it's a really good story. I like the part about Mike and the never ending depth chart...) Quote
skyline Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 Awesome read. Thanks for sharing. It sounds a lot like working with your grandfather, which I suppose is exactly what's happening here. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 14, 2013 Author Report Posted December 14, 2013 I find myself agreeing with Collinsworth. Mike doesn't need to "fight back," but he ought to speak out a bit more, and tell more stories like we get in this piece. We get glimpses of his dad predicting the spread offense 50 years ago, of Mike puttering with a depth chart the way fans putter with their fantasy lineups and of him goofing on himself with a cell phone. It wouldn't change the past, but I get the impression that there are a lot of good stories inside his head that no one knows and it would be a shame for them to pass with him. ShulaSteakhouse Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 Mike Brown doesn't share much because he's an annoyingly weird cat with a stick up his ass. Quote
