HoosierCat
Well, McNair says he wants an experienced NFL head coach for the job. So that would rule out Zimmer.

ArmyBengal
Had they gotten rid of Chris Johnson last year before we drafted Gio, I would have been good. Now ?? I'm not as concerned. Not that CJ doesn't have good left in him, it's just not a hole anymore.I would rather see them go find the next bellcow to pair with Gio for the next handful of seasons through the draft.Just me. I'll take Gio's versatility as a receiver and his more consistent 15-20 yard gains over a once every few games 80-yarder.Keep in mind, I live in Nashville and watch CJ every week. The # of no-gain and negative plays he takes is astounding.

jjakq27
CJ has always interested me but I know how that is when you see a guy everyday versus once in a while on a Sports Center highlight. Not sure what they'll do at RB after the season. The staff seems to like BJGE but he leaves a lot to be desired at times.
ArmyBengal
I just don't like how people are saying the "bellcow" isn't needed anymore. The past two weeks for the Bengals has seen BJGE play a big part in plowing forward and eating the clock.Pick up the first down, eat the clock, and smile when your team can take a knee to end the game. HoosierCat
Reports out today are that both Shanahan in DC and Leslie Frazier in Minny will be gone Monday.OTOH it looks like Rex will get one more shot in NY.
TJJackson
Given how well the Jets have done without much in the way of offensive talent, I'd bet Rex gets extendedIf they have to scapegoat a coach it will be the OC

jjakq27
Report Browns firing there coachThat's just insane. What a clusterf**ked organization. He was a position coach, then OC and now HC and lost his job three different times there in ten years. I think he's from Toledo so he just couldn't say no when they offered him the job. Honestly I thought they were playing well when they beat us the first time around. Not sure if it was the QB issues or what but they really faded badly in the last month or so.Also wonder about Schwarz in Detroit. I thought they were the best of the four NFC North teams this year yet they had nothing to play for today. Too much talent on that team not to win that division this year . HoosierCat
I just don't know how you change the coaching staff after one season, during which the team went through four QBs and the front office traded away the star RB and handed him some 75 year old guy in return. This reeks of desperation in the front office. volcom69
They said its because they didn't see progress in the second half. Ok I get it, but what if the next coach wins 4 games, or fails in the second half, are they going to let him go as well? Very confused for Browns fans lol. HoosierCat
I was reading a piece by browns beat writer Terry Pluto on Cleveland.com and one thing he said was that, as a browns writer, he has covered lots of coaching fires and he has never heard as much anger from players about the rumors Chud was out earlier today. This is just the kind of stupid move that gets all the talent on he team calling their agents and saying get me the fuk out of here.
