Earendil
I'm going to ask a question and see where it falls. What do people think about those two INT's Dalton threw ??I think the first one was on Green, and AJ said as much after the game. Green should have broken out, not in. Dalton threw to the right spot but Green didn't make the right read. The second one was on Andy. Haden had position. Dalton simply had to go elsewhere with the ball and didn't. I agree with hokie, that page of the playbook needs to be burned.I was going to post this, but you beat me to it. AJ made a bad read on the first one, and Andy made a bad read on the second. They need to spend some time this offseason getting themselves on the same page, because it hasn't been happening all year.
TJJackson
I'd like to suggest that you mods make a twitter account or a facebook page with a password you all (and B24) share so you (plural) can provide updates when the site is downOr a Facebook page, same deal...only used for times like thisno biggie, but it'd be helpful at times like this weekend, particularly if the disruption is expected to be a long one -- not true in this case, but potentially true at some unknown future date related question - is bengalszone.net on a different server? because even though that site is very inactive, it did come up over the weekendsorry about the thread hijack - and now, back to your regularly scheduled program, already in progress
volcom69
Yeah, I was worried about the plug getting pulled and then it popped up this morning.Thought I was going to have to find a new place.I stopped by go-bengals forum, and those guys complain just as much if not more then here. So explain to me why guys leave here for there, I don't understand that at all.
volcom69
My big question, why do the bengals never use the middle of the field????? They have 2 good TEs, and a pass catching RB! Please use the middle of the field!
Scottishbengal
I think this could even be a blowout and a huge boost for Clevelands morale and season.I think this is a surprising shut out that makes that stadium and its fans absolutely pissed and it burns to the ground. As Nelson Muntz would say ......... redsbengalsbucks
Bi-polar Browns fans. Probably bi-sexual after the pounding we gave their asses yesterday ..... WHODEY !!!:lmao:/>/>/>Most probably already were and it was the only reason they enjoyed the game..
ArmyBengal
I've looked at Go-Bengals but I don't care for it much.I check out the official site forums from time to time for stories, but hate the multiple threads talking the same crap.Cincyjungle is always good, but it's a different setup.I would probably just not spend near the amount of time posting as I do here. That would be a win/lose in my book.I would get back time, but I enjoy coming here and chatting up the team.I also like the fact there aren't 1000 people posting here daily. Kazkal
Can't post on gamedays most time since Computer died,Fun game to watch though Offense looked like s**t defense and special teams were awesome.
cincyhokie
One of the best parts of this game was the drive where Dalton literally just handed off to BJGE and Bernard. They just lined up and smacked the Browns in the mouth on the way to the endzone. The offense hasn't had that type of drive in a LONG time. It could be a pivotal point in this season if the O-line can run block like that on a consistent basis.

And yes, they are going to need more of the same. There's a reason the AFCN has traditionally been a smash-mouth, power-running division and we've seen it the past two weeks: weather. They have to be able to run the ball here in November and in December.

Earendil
CincyBengals.com isn't too bad. It's been quiet lately, but it used to be a pretty good place. That's where I met Billy, so it can't be all bad.
Tommy
Came to eat my crow. Horrible, just horrible. I've never seen a defense play so well and the team gives up 41 points. Just disgraceful. Jason Campbell just cracked under the pressure like something I have never seen. We are gonna get destroyed by Pitt this weekend, I can feel it. WHY CAN'T WE FIND A QB!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!You guys got so lucky it wasn't even funny. Talk about a special teams collapse of epic proportions. And all the check downs... very painful to watch. ArmyBengal
Wait. What do you mean you can't find a QB ??I thought Jason Campbell was elite.Seriously, I don't know why this should even be a surprise.Campbell has been like that his whole career.Scoring 41 was lucky ?? Tommy
Are you kidding? Did you even look at your offensive stats? We dominated you guys. We just collapsed so badly on offense and special teams we couldn't dig ourselves out of the hole. You guys better win some games, or Pitt is gonna catch you. I bet they get into the playoffs, I can just feel it.
volcom69
Dominate? Yes I wouldn't say that! When the bengals needed TDs they got them. Dalton didnt throw 3 TDs by luck, your defense could have stopped them but they didnt. The bengals ran all over you when they needed to, to end the game with a TD. Sorry I wouldn't say dominate. HoosierCat
It's true, the Browns D did dominate...for the first 15 minutes. Dalton had just 19 yards passing and completed as many passes to Joe Haden as he did to guys in orange shirts. The run game added whopping 8 net yards. Subtract the penalties on a Cook and Whit and Cincy had 7 net yards for the first period. The rest of the game? Not so much. Dalton went 10 of 19 for 70-odd yards and 3 TDs. For quarters 2-4 his QB rating was 101.1. He didn't rack up big yards, but didn't need to because, one, turnovers set the O up deep in Cleveland territory, and two, the run game took off. BJGE and Gio combined for 99 rushing yards on 21 carries.Moral of the story? Gotta play all four quarters.

Tommy
I'm bitter, I'll admit it, this was our season, and the qb was playing pretty well just blows and ruined any chance we had, choke artist. You guys got a good team, but unless Dalton can unleash his Eli in the playoffs you guys won't go very far either. I'm curious to how long you will stick with him if he plays another mediocre playoff game again.Good luck the rest of the way guys.
ArmyBengal
Seriously, i'm glad to see the Browns doing better.I just don't see how Browns fans thought this was their year.No one picked them to finish in the top two of the division and most thought the bottom.Looking at their remaining schedule, the bottom is still possible.Any team starting their 3rd QB of the season isn't usually in a good spot. cincyhokie
This was never the Browns year. Next year they'll make the playoffs. Not this year. Not at any point were they going to make it. Are they better than the Bengals? Nope. Next season maybe it's a different story.
Tommy
At this point, (like every damn year) I hope we lose out and draft Johnny Football or Mettenberger or something, Jesus help us already this crap isn't funny anymore. I'll glady take Andy Dalton average qb play at this point. We just need SOMEBODY. But I already know what's gonna happen if we get a qb, our D will be in the bottom of the league next year. It's always something with this team. I honestly expect to lose all the rest of our games and it's gonna be a nail biter against Jacksonville, seriously.
