OK, here's your chance to vote for Andy again for Fedex player of the week.

Where's the enter button on that page? I hit the check mark and that's all I see

Check a QB and a RB, and it's entered.

I did that. Such a system seems a little clunky but OK

Andy Dalton is the AFC Offensive Player of the Month

:sure:/> Well-deserved.

Couldn't agree more.

With there being thoughts of him having confidence problems towards to start of the season, this certainly puts that to rest.

Good for Andy and good for the Bengals !!!

Here's something to watch tonight: I can't remember where I read it this week, but Dalton is on a tear with three straight 300+ yard, 3 TD passing games. Only two or three other QBs in the history of the league have hit those numbers in four straight games.

So let's say that tonight Andy comes back down to earth. I guarantee you the narrative afterward will be, "see, told ya, he just got lucky for a few games, he still sucks," when the reality is that he simply failed to do something that history says is virtually impossible.

And if he does do it? Well, it's just the Dolphins...

Yep, d*mned if you do, d*mned if you don't.

I'm looking forward to the game tonight though !!!

I don't want to bust the chops of any QB out there really. Well, except Rottenfurburger.

However, Dalton is doing way above average since that Cleveland abortion.

I simply like to see people give him his due.

Until he has a bad game and then we can draft a real QB.

Funny how the "deep ball" or "arm strength" is not mentioned.

He's still improving, meaning his good/great games are more frequent than his bad games. Key to me is having great games during big games, ie playoffs. He's due, and he needs it to happen.

If not, there will be further analysis akin to how he does in night away games, on grass, v NFC opponents.

That guy never said anything even remotely like, "Dalton sucks", or "cut him now." In fact, that article was well-reasoned and based completely on fact, and he cites the stats to back up everything he said.

The fact is Andy Dalton is an inconsistent quarterback. He has good games, and he has bad games. And as that article points out, his bad games are usually in big spots. There is nothing wrong with stating the truth, and I can't figure out why this article would be ridiculed or disparaged.

It's kind of like when Shula came in here after Thursday night's debacle and said, essentially, "Dalton sucked in that game," people responded by attacking him personally and acting like he'd done something wrong. The only reason Shula said "Dalton sucked in that game," is because Dalton sucked in that game. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I had blinders on when it came to Palmer, and I learned my lesson. No more. Quarterbacks are what they are. Dalton isn't great, but who is these days?

Well, it's good to hear you've removed your blinders. Now that you can see you may want to fix that busted sarcasm detector... :P

Where is this article on Matt Ryan? I don't believe he's won a single playoff game, either.

Truthfully, I have no problem with the article. It is what it is. But, I think the whole "big game" argument is overrated at this point in his career. Give the kid some time.

They have said the same thing about Peyton, I'll take that company to put a QB in.

I have no issue with pointing out the things that Dalton needs to improve on.

I simply don't like overreactions on either side of the argument.

Some of his stats during his first three seasons are on par with some of the greats. However, he's not one of the greats at this point.

Some of his games (Thursday) make him look worse than Akili Smith. However, he's not Akili Smith.

Dalton is a QB that is continuing to learn each week.

The hope is that he is learning from the mistakes. I get more of that than the alternative.

When he plays bad, he's going to hear about it. When he plays well, he's the AFC Offensive player of the month.

Here's to hoping we see more of the good than bad.

I'm confident we will.

Got a crew here working on it right now! They said they've never seen this exact model, but the guy's got a bunch of wires and gauges hooked up to it right now. He says it's probably the flux capacitor.
