Per Hobson, Geathers' arm injury is serious enough that it may send him to IR. I know everyone hates him but he's a valuable rotation guy and his loss would hurt. OTOH it may pave the way for Hunt to get active on gameday.

That said, everything I read on why Orson was kept instead said that it was due to special teams play, but honestly, the Terminator plays special teams too and has had some sensational performances blocking. Tackling, I dunno

OK last link. Apparently Marsh came into camp as the Eagles' starting RCB, and ended up getting cut from a defense that after two games is atrocious. Why signing this guy was better than bringing CLH, who at least is familiar with the D, up is beyond me.

He earned a game check this week with a gross amount roughly 4 times higher than he usually gets (when on the PS) so I don't think he's unhappy about that at all

The waiver is a formality to get him back to the PS

Now if on the other team some other team claims him off waivers, then he earns another 4x higher game check for at least a week, so again - I doubt he's too unhappy about that possibility either :-)

Sounds like Marvin coached this Marsh guy at the senior bowl a few years ago. I guess they liked something about him. I like his size, he says he likes to play man, but who knows if he will be any good.
