ArmyBengal
I think it means Hunt gets more snaps, but Gilberry sees his snaps increase significantly.
redsbengalsbucks
Per Hobson, Geathers' arm injury is serious enough that it may send him to IR. I know everyone hates him but he's a valuable rotation guy and his loss would hurt. OTOH it may pave the way for Hunt to get active on gameday.BMO, Hunt is years away.could sign Moch off of his current practice squadHunt will do fine as a rotation/relief player. He seems to learn quick and has the greatest potential to become a pro-bowl player, other than Eifert, of all the draft picks this year. HoosierCat
Hobs says that the Bengals are working out "lots" of guys today. Two guys categorized as "seen in the locker room" today were Miles and Tony Dye.
HoosierCat
More fuel for the Connor/Charles fire: Reedy confirmed on twitter today that Charles was benched Monday night for performance issues. Specifically, they sat him due to poor blocking and special teams play (penalty included).

TJJackson
I like Orson, no doubt about itThat said, everything I read on why Orson was kept instead said that it was due to special teams play, but honestly, the Terminator plays special teams too and has had some sensational performances blocking. Tackling, I dunnoSo -- tho I do like Orson - please bring back the Terminator
HoosierCat
Today's roster update:Joe Reedy @joereedy 5m#bengals bring back S Jeromy Miles, waive LB J.K. Schaffer, DE Robert Geathers placed on IR, sign CB Curtis Marsh, who was last w/EaglesSchaffer is expected to go back to the taxi squad if he clears waivers.Sucks about Geathers. Kazkal
Hopefully this will get Hunt some time on the field now on passing downs,Since Marv and co like to slide their oversized Defensive ends inside on passing downs...So could see Nice mix of MJ,Dunlap,Hunt & Geno in on 3rd downs. HoosierCat
Former third round pick of the Eagles (2011). Didn't appear to do much there./>http://www.nfl.com/player/curtismarsh/2508116/profilehere's his very uninteresting twitter feed./>https://twitter.com/curtmarsh31Apparently Marsh was the guy Philly cut so they could sign Prater...lol./>http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=529080OK last link. Apparently Marsh came into camp as the Eagles' starting RCB, and ended up getting cut from a defense that after two games is atrocious. Why signing this guy was better than bringing CLH, who at least is familiar with the D, up is beyond me./>http://973espn.com/eagles-still-have-plenty-of-questions-at-cornerback/
volcom69
Yea I don't get this move? There is nobody better then him? So 3 cb's sit today I'm hoping they are ready for Sunday.
kingwilly
sounds like there are some SoP fingers in the pie with this move.Maybe Marsh is being looked at to convert to WR some time in the future...or something. How bad does it suck to be JK right about now. ....? dude, bummer.Maybe a team with LB woes will give him a shake? Gotta think a team like Atlanta could use him.
volcom69
He will be back on practice squad tomorrow if he passes through.
TJJackson
I am sure JK is quite happy with all thisHe earned a game check this week with a gross amount roughly 4 times higher than he usually gets (when on the PS) so I don't think he's unhappy about that at allThe waiver is a formality to get him back to the PSNow if on the other team some other team claims him off waivers, then he earns another 4x higher game check for at least a week, so again - I doubt he's too unhappy about that possibility either :-)
HoosierCat
And for those keeping score at home, J.K. "the new Rico Murray" Schaffer is back on the PS.
volcom69
Sounds like Marvin coached this Marsh guy at the senior bowl a few years ago. I guess they liked something about him. I like his size, he says he likes to play man, but who knows if he will be any good.

HoosierCat
Miles didn't make it through waivers this time, he got claimed by the Ravens. volcom69
With Miles now gone who knows if Hall plays this week with his Hammy I wouldn't mind this move at all. He could play the slot if needed, I say sign him if he is ready.
HoosierCat
Moch bumped up to the active roster out in Arizona. They filled his PS spot with former Bengals LB Bruce Taylor. Cardinals = Bengals West. :lol:/>Bengals also signed S Tony Dye to the taxi squad.
