ArmyBengal Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 No Shawn Williams ??Sean Porter is a player i'm really excited to see play in this defense. Quote
Earendil Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 WR — Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate (Tate??? Ugh.)And with that, the entire Bengals fanbase explodes. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 I will say this, if they keep Tate and think Cobi Hamilton will make it onto the practice squad, they will be disappointed.Oh and I don't think Skelton will beat out Johnson either. He knows the offense and is more mobile. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 2, 2013 Author Report Posted August 2, 2013 Yeah, Williams is trailing but at least Mays is, too!I agree, Cobi won't clear waivers. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 2, 2013 Author Report Posted August 2, 2013 Oh, hey Army, there's been a sighting of your favorite player ever! />http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130802/SPORTS0101/308020093/1126/rss14 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Good God. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 I expect Cobi Hamilton to be on this team, with Hawk probably out for a awhile I can see him making it.I think Lamur will have a huge role on this team, because the bengals play so much Nickle we will see him and Burfict on the field a lot.I still cant believe that Ghee is ahead of Dre who has had an awesome camp, but Ghee has also doing good in camp. I think that will be a huge battle.Iloka is better in coverage then the other guys, and as of now im hoping it stays this way, if not and he stuggles I really hope they look at Kerry Rhoads. Last year the safety postion killed them, the brought in Crocker and all of a sudden the defense was good again. Quote
membengal Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 Ghee and Dre both make this team (assuming Ghee is healthy), so not really caring how that battle goes, just want health for those two. Quote
volcom69 Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 I agree Mem both will make it, and Shawn Prater to practice squad maybe? There is some good young depth at CB this year I like it. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 3, 2013 Author Report Posted August 3, 2013 Yah I noticed Kirkpatrick wasn't on the two-deep but I don't see any chances he gets cut. Quote
combatbengal Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 I do not want Tate on this team And where is Hawkins. Call me crazy and nuts, but I'd rather have Chad back on the team then have Tate!! I really have no idea what these coaches see in him. Just look at the films from last season. Dropped balls, poor decisions on punt returns, fumbles....OFFENSEWR — Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate (Tate??? HoosierCat Posted August 3, 2013 Author Report Posted August 3, 2013 And where is Hawkins. In a boot on crutches on the sideline. Hobson's speculation has turned darker, that the injury could linger into the regular season. I don't think he's lock to make the roster. Not only because of the injury but I'm not sure where he fits. Quote
combatbengal Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Don't know much about his injury but Hawkins is a lot better than Tate! Hawkins produces!! Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Looks like Porter will see time spelling Harrison on 1st/2nd down, and be the default fill-in if Harrison gets hurt, so that makes sense. They have an unexplainable hard-on for Cook (likely based on cost).Iloka...ugh...based on the hair alone. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 No word on Aaron Maybin huh ??I really was curious how he would do, given the opportunity to do something new in Zimmer's defense. Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 4, 2013 Author Report Posted August 4, 2013 Don't know much about his injury but Hawkins is a lot better than Tate! Hawkins produces!!Looks like he could be headed for IR/designated for return like Cook last year./>http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6505/andrew-hawkins Quote
