combatbengal
So, we finally blew out a team! Well not just any team, it was the defending Super Bowl champs! Was that a fluke or have we turned things around? Can we keep it up? We're 4 and 5 now with 7 games left. If we were to win five of those games which I think we can do if we play like we did last weekend. We'd be 9 and 7. If we can steal one from the Steelers or Raven and win the rest we could be 10 and 6. Would that be good enough for a wild card. Or do we do what we usually do and win a few more games to get us out of the top 5 picks for next years draft? Here are my wishes and hopes!!We beat the Chiefs (we have a good chance)We beat the Riders (I do not want to lose to Palmer)We beat the Chargers (Once again, we have a good chance)We beat Dallas (They are up and down so we have a good chance at that)We beat the Eagles (Vick is having a rought time, we got a good chance at that)Steelers (I'd like to take this one)Ravens (Slim to no chance but got my fingers crossed)Here is what will most likely happen with our luck, we win six in a row, lose to the Ravens, get in on a wild card and end up playing the Ravens two weeks in a row. No changes for next year because we made the playoffs and os on and so on....
ArmyBengal
I would only be willing to look at our playoff chances after taking the next 3 games. We are already the low man in regards to tie breakers and another AFC loss would about do them in.If we get to Dallas at 7-5 then I might be willing to consider it further. Without Ray Rice we can beat the Ravens.
combatbengal
I wouldn't ount on that! Thr Ravens can use their practice squad players and it'd be a game!! It's always a dog fight no matter who is on the field!

Stripes
I think the playoffs are out. I'm just rooting for 9-7.
membengal
Predicted 6-10, still would guess 6-10.
combatbengal
If we start winning games, I'm wanting to get in the playoffs. I don't want to see another season where the team and some fans say, we'll we finished strong which means we've gotten better so there is no need for change. If you're going to win then let's get our butts in the playoffs. If we're going to continue to lose then lets shoot for the best draft pick that we can. I'd rather see us in the playoffs and actually win a playoff game though!!
walzav29
Man, those losses to Miami and Cleve will bite us in the a$$. Those teams suck, and to lose back to back games. Head shaker. 1 week at a time though. KC has to get destroyed.

Losing to Cleveland and Miami are both AFC loses and double screw the Bengals.
walzav29
The good news is the 1st tie breaker is head to head. I don't think Miami will be there at the end. Colts have a pretty tough schedule, and Ben is the big issue. If the Bengals D-line can play up to it's potential then there is no reason they can't go on a run. I'm hoping the NYG win was the confidence builder needed. They won't have expectations for a few weeks. Thats when the real test begins. ArmyBengal
Said it before and will say it again:Get through the next 3 AFC games, putting them at 7-5 and then you can talk about it further.Anything less than that and there's no need to talk about what they do down the stretch.Done. volcom69
I really dont know what to make of this team, young and inconsistant i guess. It was an awesome win against New York, but its one game, and this is still the team that lost to Miami and Clevland. Now maybe somehow they turned a corner, or maybe Dalton turned the corner im not sure, but i still really dont trust this team yet. My hopes were pretty high coming in to this season because of last season, only to realize this is still the same bengals team that lets down its fans year after year. Now go on a winning streak, and i might start changing my mind. With Marvin still coaching this team, i have no clue what this team is. ArmyBengal
I will say this, as easy as we lost to MIami and Cleveland, it can happen to any team.Things can still shift fairly dramatically. Not saying I think they will, but it really wouldn't be that suprising either.
UK Bengal
At this point guys i would consider 2 winning seasons on the trott improvement if we somehow make the playoffs then thats a bonus so i think 9-7 is very achivable if we continue the same play against the giants with the games we have left. Even Super Bowl winning coaches talk about improvement the next year. Other teams are going to be working to get better, so even if you are a w inner you have to keep getting better to stay ahead of everyone else. Improvement for this team would making the playoffs and either winning or at least putting forth a better effort than they did last year. The Texans owned the Bengals in the playoffs and almost made look as if the Bengals didn't deserve to be there.
