BengalszoneBilly
Pittsburgh - (AP) – Ben Roethlisberger might have had to go to the hospital Sunday night after his team beat the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, but teammates who accompanied him for an MRI and CT scan on his injured rib and shoulder say his legendary toughness was on display even in the emergency room.Rookie center Maurkice Pouncy said, “I had to help Ben in there like carrying a wounded vet off the battlefield. But once he got a look at that 16 year old candystriper, it was on. Ben chased her down the hall, dragged her into a supply closet and raped the living s**t out of her. He’s a gamer, that’s all I can tell you.”Team trainer William Sheldon witnessed the attack, and was likewise impressed, “Ben could barely move that arm. You wouldn’t think he could even get out of that wheel chair. But he answered the bell. That girl might have run track in high school, I mean she was fast. But people underestimate Ben’s athleticism. He chased her down like nothing was wrong. We were all cheering, even the medical staff in the emergency room.”Teammate Willie Colon was likewise impressed, “People forget Ben didn’t start raping until college. He’s had to develop his whole game here in the last few years. I thought I was going to have to chase this little hospital volunteer for him, but I was wrong. Ben can just rape through pain like no one I’ve ever seen. He’s my hero.”The victim called Pittsburgh police, but no charges were filed. Seargent Andy Fife said, “This wasn’t rape, this was just kids having fun. That girl had a few beers in her, I think. Anyway, Ben’s just like a big puppy dog. If he did rape her, she’s one lucky gal!”Gerth Derblunsky, the victim’s cousin said, “I really wanted her for my child cousin-wife, but now that Ben’s had her, her dad will probably keep her for hisself. Dang.”COB I've been sharing your classic post around the web. Good reviews so far.

Between the great one Binns, who Marvin and other coaches said was the next #2 receiver on this team, and Moch who is a work out warrior, the Bengals can beat any team in practice. Clements and Crocker is not dreadful. With Dre, Jones, Newman, and Hall ready... the play of CB's has been better. Will we ever see Allen on the field? have not noticed him one bit. Spor_tees
with the way Robinson is playing I'm surprised they haven't cut Faine and brought up a young guy to play. I bet if it gets to where they won't make the playoffs they will. Faine was signed after the first game so he is on a game by game contract. Cutting him would save them some cash and get a young guy experience.
ArmyBengal
No way in hell they cut Faine. They have to have a back up until Cook is back and there is no one else that has filled that role. Are there others capable ?? Probably, but that would be silly until Cook is back. Spor_tees
Cook had the pins removed what two weeks ago? He'll be ready to go in 3-4 weeks. They have Scott Wedgie...err I mean Wedige that is a center on the practice squad, and they still have Otis Hudson who Alexander has a hard on for but doesn't keep him on the roster. They had Hudson practicing at center last year trying to make him a versatile guy.

No guarantees on Cook that I have seen. Only guesses at this point.

They are paying Faine veteran money to be hurt and stand on the side lines. If won't matter Cook will be back soon and Faine will be cut. cincy9275
lol no way you cut faine ... cook has a month till he maybe can play. you can't go in to a game with 1 center. if you use boling then you have to move 2 guys on the o-line. BJGE usually only carries it 20 or less times per game...it will never happen unless defenders start tripping over sprinklers.

I can only recall a handfull of plays this year where our RB got into the secondary untouched. The rest have been the generic three yards and a cloud of dust variety. Spor_tees
Or the offensive line actually starts blowing open some running lanes you could drive a truck through. I can only recall a handfull of plays this year where our RB got into the secondary untouched. The rest have been the generic three yards and a cloud of dust variety.I don't understand the running problem really. The line grades out good, but for some reason BJGE can't get into the second level of the defense. I think the problem honestly is that they aren't using a two back set with a full back enough, and they aren't using an unbalanced line anymore like they did when they were a much better rushing team. They do bring Roland in as a TE some, but they rarely put a double TE set with Roland on one side. As long as Gruden continues to not commit to a running game, and use a single back set with and run stretch plays all the time where BJGE doesn't have a specific hole and has to read the defense, they are going to fail. It's just not working. To be honest with you, I don't think Gruden cares. Sadly, when they put guys like Peerman, Leonard, and Sanu in, they handed them the ball and they just hit the holes. I don't get the difference. I hope they start using two back sets more. Putting Sanu in the backfield with Pressly, then throwing a screen pass or swing pass to Sanu would be awesome. Even better, when the defense sees Sanu in the backfield they could focus on him, the Bengals fake the screen pass, have Green run a post, and have Gresham run a 5 yard button pattern as his check down. I guarantee that play would work great.

I'm not sure the lack of a running game is their fault, or the backs just aren't that good. I still wish we traded up for Richardson. We had the picks to do it. I just find that when guys are work out warriors they rarely take the time to worry about flexibility and stretching to make their ligament and things like their hamstring more elastic and helps to avoid injuries. Also all the extra muscle puts extra weight that makes it harder on joints that were not allowed to develop at the same rate to be able to safely support the person's body frame. This is a classic problem for players that begin lifting weights at an early age. Taking certain supplements like creatine during this time of develop of the body is very dangerous. Richardson is already been suffering from knee and hamstring problems. If he wants to possibly help his health in the future he needs to cut down on the heavy lifting and work on more reps instead. He also needs to take up something like yoga, ballet, or something that helps him to stretch his body in a stretches his ligaments and lengthens his muscles.
