BengalszoneBilly
I knew the answer before I even opened the thread. I feel he'll have many more during his career!

redsbengalsbucks
It is nice for AJ(428 and 3 TD's), but what does Brian Hartline(455 and 1 TD) have to do. He had a monster month.

He had a monster month.I'd say the 3 Tds VS 1 is more heavily weighted than the extra 27 yards. Seems fair to me and I'd make this argument even if it was the other way around. He probably wont reach those hieghts ever again, while an above average WR he is not a superstar in the making. In regards to those facts, I feel sorry for Mr. Hartline for not recieving his due. AJ is very deserving, I in no way meant that he wasnt.

Chances are Green will have a lot more opportunities for awards like this where as Hartline might not ever have such an impressive streak again. While that is total speculation, I can agree in general terms that it is likely to be true. I'm an OSU fan myself so I like Hartline and would like him to succeed. Hopefully he'll prove us both wrong and be fantastic, just so long as he isn't doing it while playing against the Bengals of course!
HoosierCat
PFF also named Green their player of the month, and took a look a little deeper into what he has done:There have been some fine performances over the first four games of the season but none better in the AFC than that of second year receiver A.J. Green (+9.9). We were always big fans of the ability Green had, but as a rookie his season was marred by silly penalties. This year he has yet to draw a flag and is second in the NFL in receiving yards with 428, jumped this week by Brian Hartline’s ridiculous game against the Cardinals. Green has scored three times, dropped just one catchable ball and has also blocked well on the edge for the Bengals as they try and get their running game going. In short, Green continues to raise his overall game. COB
One thing Brian Hartline could do is rake the leaves in my yard. Because they're becoming bothersome.

BUT..... aj is the man period. i said it once and will stand by it . i truly believe aj is the nfl's best w/r. teams can not play him man to man , the will lose every time. hell they can barely play him with double coverage. aj still kills them.
