BengalszoneBilly Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 The three Reds who made the NL All Star team. Joey gets to start. Jay and Aroldis have to wait their turn, but with the way Bruce has been swinging the bat it shouldn't take long. Quote
Stripes Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 Glad to see it. I think Bruce was undeserving and Phillips got jobbed, but whatever. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Phillips got f*cking robbed plain and simple. Quote
jjakq27 Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Is it true that Tony LaRussa picked the team and is the manager? Sorry but he retired. He should have forfeited the right to manage the All-Start team when he stepped down. And don't tell me that he still doesn't have a problem with Cueto and Phillips. Cueto has cooled off but he was the best pitcher in April and May and is the ace of the division leading team. And Phillips makes the craziest plays every night. But I guess that doesn't count. WTF! :frustrated: Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Phillips got f*cking robbed plain and simple.Cueto and Phillips got robbed. LaRussa's final revenge for the big brawl. Quote
UK Bengal Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 I echo all what's been said Phillips was robbed Quote
Wraith Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Sorry but we failed Brandon Phillips as a fan base. There is no way Dan Uggla should have been the fan vote, we should have been more vigilant.Everyone knew there were only going to be 2 2nd basemen on the team this year and most people figured that the kid from Houston would be their representative so we had to vote Brandon in and we didn't do it.....it was on us not LaRussa. Atlanta has a much larger fan-base and is more recognized nationally. Regardless, anybody with a brain knows that Brandon deserved it. LaRussa included. That's why managers get a vote, right? To correct the stupidity of fans? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted July 11, 2012 Author Report Posted July 11, 2012 Well our boys didn't do much last night. Zero hits by Joey and Jay, and one walk and one strikeout by Aroldis. Quite a blowout by the NL though. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Very uneventful ASG by our guys, but whatever.I like the All Star Game more than the Pro Bowl... Quote
