He has shown flashes of getting his stuff together, today would be the perfect time to go on a roll.Especially with the way St. Louis is stumbling right now. The Reds could use a bigger buffer in the standings. Quote
skyline Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Is nobody else concerned about the Pirates? They're making me far more nervous than the Cardinals right now. Quote
Stripes Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 I don't think the Pirates have enough offense to stay in the race all year. They're playing well now though. Quote
Stripes Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 The Cards get shut out for the second straight game. The Pirates and Brewers are starting a pretty important series tonight too. Both of those teams need that one badly if they want to establish themselves as serious threats in this division race. Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 About time Baker yanked Latos. Hoover comes in to relieve. I hope he doesn't suck, but his name indicates otherwise. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 My inclination that Hoover sucked proved to be right. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 JESUS!!! Now he gives up a run and we trail 9-8. Yank this dude and ship him back to AAA ball. Quote
