G and DT were the best two picks... Bengals get a C- in this years draft. We failed to take care of the needs at Safety, LB, and WR. Hopefully they address these weak spots in FA.

AGreen! Welcome back my friend. Though I don't know what you mean by addressing needs at linebacker. I think we're pretty set at linebacker. And at receiver they at least got a couple warm bodies. A lot of needs, but a finite number of draft picks!

A "C-" ?? Really ??

So the coaches stating they like what they have at safety isn't enough that they had to spend a high round pick ??

Thinking Moch and Muckelroy are going to be contributors is completely off base ??

Drafting Sanu and Jones doesn't look like anything to you ??

Even if the average person thought this draft absolutely sucked for the Bengals, there's no way they could give them anything worse than a "B".

Look at the talent, value, and needs they addressed and when they addressed them. Consider the fact players aren't going to be able to walk out there come OTA's and camp thinking their jobs are secure and the competition that will breed.

A little objectivity is usually a good thing as opposed to being butthurt that someones favorite player didn't get drafted.

I hate the fact they didn't get DeCastro. F*CKING HATE IT. However, getting Zeitler, plus d-line depth with a value pick was awesome.

I will give the coaches the edge in thinking they know more than the fans when it comes to this. Craziness huh ??

Safety-Seems like we filled the need at Safety tome,Being they let crocker go and didn't draft a SS that they are happy with Mays or Sands starting...We did draft someone to Develop behind Nelson sooo the need we had was taken care of...

Linebacker-We have our Starters Maualuga,Lawson & Howard and we have guys we are developing for future Muckelroy/Moch so once again coaching staff must not have felt there was that big of a need.

WR-We drafted Sanu who was considered a first round Talent to be our 2# and got Marvin Jones as someone to develop

So how was this not addressed? is the only way to address a position to burn a first round pick?

Everybody knows you never go full retard.

Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home

Dave Lapham is high on the FA WR we picked up from U Conn, Kashif Moore. He's a little guy, 5'9" like Wes Welker but has speed to burn and really impressed at the combine. The tough thing is to evaluate him at a school like U Conn that does not have a passing game to speak of. They only threw 12 TD passes last year but Moore caught 5 of them. I wonder if he can return kicks? My suggestion is for him to start working on it as it might be his best path to the pros.
