combatbengal
Our season is over and now it’s time to start planning for next year! What changes would you like to see next season: Here are a few of mine:1. Draft a DB. Our DB’s can’t cover and can’t tackle. Not sure how Hall will be next season.2. Get rid of tate! He sucks at returning the ball and making decisions.3. Get rid of Adam Jones! He’s done.4. Draft a RB. Benson isn’t the answer. Fumbles too much!! 5. Welcome Shipley back!!!6. Keep Hawkins!!!7. Keith Rivers?? Is he ever coming back? Not sure where we will draft but we do have some extra picks for the Palmer trade!! We need help on both sides of the ball. Scottishbengal
Build through the draft has been Marvins mantra. It's time to see who, from the previous few drafts, is ready to step it up. I'd like to see how Sands and Moch have progressed and if they'll be pushing for any playing time next year.

volcom69
Isnt horrible how Anthony Collins was one of the best OL on this team, and probably could start elsewhere and was riding the bench almost all year. Playoff game hell he was inactive! Why not freaking put him at guard what was that going to hurt, that way you have your best OL out there, i just dont understand this! You didnt have Donald Lee on there is signed for next year also? I hope so i really enjoyed having him here, and think they need to keep him here??
Stripes
Why is Anthony Collins being looked at as awesome all the sudden?
HoosierCat
Why is Anthony Collins being looked at as awesome all the sudden? All of a sudden? Where you been, stripes? There have been calls for him to replace Livings or even better McGlynn for much of the season. Some people even prefer shifting Smith to RG and putting Collins in a RT, tho Smith's improvement in pass blocking has muted those calls. There have been calls for him to replace Livings or even better McGlynn for much of the season. Some people even prefer shifting Smith to RG and putting Collins in a RT, tho Smith's improvement in pass blocking has muted those calls.Yep i love Collins as a blocker and i think he proved that in 09, but he never got his fair shot. Lewis said today that they found there RT, so we know Smith is ok, and to be honest im ok with that. However i see no reason not to try Collins at guard, you cant just let him ride the bench, or inactive i just dont get it. When he came in for Smith, i thought he did awsome and deserved that chance when Bobby went down. It sucks if he does leave, just because i think he will be successful some place else, when he never got his fair shot here! So im fine with Whit, Cook, and Smith, they need to find 2 guards, and i will be happy.I dont think Benson will be back, sounds like they were not to happy with him, and will evaluate the running game. I was so happy to hear that today, maybe they will focus on makin this better. Its about time to put toghter a complete game!Does anyone know if Donald Lee is a free agent or if he will be here next year, i think they need to get him signed if not! ArmyBengal
There are of tons of possible answers to the "What's next?" question and we will have to wait a little while to figure them out.Let me add this though, I hope one of the "What's next?" things to address is showing Pac Man the f*cking door. Former 1st round pick is all he will be known for. I'm sick of his attitude and don't want to see his halfass play anymore. Just get rid of him and move on.That being said, how is it Ghee has gotten nothing ?? Was he hurt or did he just suck so bad he couldn't beat out Jennings or Pac Man ??If he sucked THAT bad, show his ass the door as well.Just get me a first round CB this coming draft and move on. They can't be any worse than what we have to work with.

Not sure if he will make it that far or not, but if he is there at 17 take him.I would keep Jennings though! Have Hall,Clemants,Kirkpatrick,Jennings i would love that for CB. Pacman is not a starting CB, but i dont think he would be bad if he had to play the nickel or dime situation.
combatbengal
Benson stated that he has no idea what he'll be doing next year and doesn't want to close any doors. The tone in his voice said that he wasn't happy here in cincy and might want to move on!
derekshank
Kirkpatrick if he is there i would love that pick in the 1st round, he is just awsome to watch. Not sure if he will make it that far or not, but if he is there at 17 take him.It seems unlikely... but I guess anything is possible. The only issue with Kirkpatrick is that he's likely to be more successful playing in a zone scheme rather than the amount of man-to-man coverage Bengal CBs are asked to do.I know people say things like this every year... but Kirkpatrick is a big, physical, hard hitting CB, and looks to me like he would be an elite Free Safety. If the Bengals were to draft him, I would hope they choose to convert him rather than keep him as a CB.
ArmyBengal
Kirkpatrick and DeCastro would be awesome. However, I expect both of them to be gone prior to when we pick.If either is there at #17, I think it's a no brainer of a pick.

HoosierCat
Just get me a first round CB this coming draft and move on. I am slowly but surely coming around the view that I do NOT want them to take a corner in the first round. This draft is looking stupid deep at CB, and it just got deeper a couple days ago when SC's Stephon Gilmore declared for the draft. There are about a dozen CBs who could legitimately be selected in the first two rounds, which strongly suggests that there will still be some quality left when the Bengals come up at 20 in round 2.I'm starting to warm to the idea of Mark Barron in the first, tho it could be considered a reach. This draft sucks at safety though. And there's going to be a load of good d-linemen, and a few very good 'backers, there around 21.Hopefully FA helps them whittle the choices down.
