redsbengalsbucks
Andre Gurode is a Cowboy no more.Unable to reach an agreement on a re-worked contract over the last two days, the Dallas Cowboys decided to part ways with the five-time Pro Bowl center, according to a sourceThis looks to be interesting as an upgrade to the O-line, a 5 time probowl Center couldnt hurt. ShulaSteakhouse
Unless he's cheap...and you know how Alexander gets married to his waiver wire talent here...(i.e. Livings, Cook). Cook has been serviceable and would be an IDEAL back-up, but you know "continuity" and all that garbage will bethe excuse for not pursuing a needed upgrade most likely. Then again I don't know why they're reworking his contract, is it due to injury/decline in play, or cap reasons?
princeton
Mikey will never, ever pay for a center
Spor_tees
Well since the Bengals don't play the Patriots (Haynsworth) then it would be ok, they wouldn't have to worry about him missing a few games from getting stepped on his face.If he can play guard as well I am all for it. HoosierCat
I'd certainly kick Gurode's tires. He's 32 but has only missed like 6 games in his career, and not one in the past 3 seasons. Don't see it happening, though.
redsbengalsbucks
I dont really know much about him, but I hope they at least look his way. Maybe bring him in for a physical/workout and then let him sign with another team.

volcom69
I wouldnt mind if they took a look at him either, i just dont see it happening. Around here they love cook, and will not replace him, but they do need guard help?
TJJackson
They have to at least bring him in for a look-seerecent pro bowler at a position of need? Yes please......
redsbengalsbucks
Another release that might be an upgrade. The New England Patriots told safety James Sanders they plan to cut him Monday
blueridge
Give me a break with this Gurode talk. His biggest impact in the NFL was getting his face stomped by Albert Haynesworth.
