derekshank
The Bengals have gotten very good draft grades from a ton of national analysts. That got me thinking... how many of these guys will be starting for the Bengals in a couple years?- AJ Green is a no brainer.- Dalton was obviously drafted to be a starter (Time will tell if that works out).- Moch will be a situational role player in my opinion.- Boling ought to be starting by year 2 at the latest.- Sands has a good chance... but if I were betting, I'd say he's a STer and depth.- Despite his athleticism, I don't expect Lindsey be more than depth.- Whaling and Finley are situational players at best. So, my answer is 3... Green, Dalton, and Boling, with a couple good situational role players and added positional depth.
ArmyBengal
Starting within a couple of years ??Yeah, I'd go with 3 that could bump to 4.The same people you mentioned.Green, Dalton, Boling, and maybe Sands.I suppose Moch can't be left out, but that would depend on what they do at the position. If Brandon Johnson leaves, his chances increase.Minus them drafting someone next year. volcom69
I say at least three also could be four. Either way i can see all these guys playing someway or another.
Stripes
I'll look ahead three years and guess 2 or 3 (Green and Boling with Dalton in question). It'd be great for Moch to make the same impact but I'd be surprised. Sands seems pretty boom or bust.
Trevor
3 to 4, if sands gets some coaching,
BengalszoneBilly
3 to 4, if sands gets some coaching, 52 at most, and I'm not counting Dalton.
kingwilly
I would guess 2 long-term starters, though let's not tie starting to value.Green and Sands.I did not include Dalton even though he may start for a year or two, as I feel his career ceiling is akin to Kitna, Gradkowski or Charlie Frye. He will be valuable in bridging this team to another option.I don't see Moch as a starter but a 2 down specialist in pass rush or coverage schemes, and his value will be very high.Boling could push to start, and it could be his push that nets this team the 3rd starter from this draft but I need to see more.I went and watched all the tape I could find on Sands and I am impressed. I think he will oust Ndukwe, who I've always felt resisted the coaching he got and freelanced too much, costing this team on 3rd down and in the red zone. Sands has high gear speed, kind of reminds me of a Terrence Newman in his fluidity and smoothness.Whalen, meh. Can't really see him making the team unless he really makes a ST impact.Lindsey and Finely can help but it will take time. I think this team should tak a lookat a vet RB, just in case. Kazkal
3 to 5 (if all goes right)Green=No BrainerDalton=Should be now starter in 3 years who knowsMoch=I think he'll end up Starting SLB and until then we'll see plenty time on field on passing downsBoling=All you have to do is beat out nate livings or a aging Bobbie williams...Shouldn't be that hard.Sands=I think he will start games for us because whos in front of him at SS? Currently no one I think Roy gets resigned and will be starter but only god knows how long he will stay healthy.
