Scout200 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Looking at a broader spectrum than just this year, who do you think is the worst NFL owner? Quote
Kazkal Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 1.)Mike Brown2.)Mike Brown3.)Mike Brown4.)Mike Brown5.)Al Davis Quote
jjakq27 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 I gotta say Al Davis. For as fkd up as we think it is here, think of the lunacy that's gone on there over the last 8 years (or since they won the Super Bowl).Bill Callahan, Lane Kiffin, JaMarcus Russell, Tom Cable, Randy Moss, Darius Heyward-Bey, Art Shell........ BengalszoneBilly Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I gotta say Al Davis. For as fkd up as we think it is here, think of the lunacy that's gone on there over the last 8 years (or since they won the Super Bowl). At least Al Davis made it to a Super Bowl. Mike Brown wins this award of worst owner. Quote
Scout200 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Report Posted January 13, 2011 IMO Snyder.. He's been trying to buy a championship for a long while now and isn't retaining the coaching staff. Also, he seems to be more of a fan than an owner. Being buddy buddy with the players wont get you anywhere. They will love you as an owner, but when you develop relationships that you cannot (or have a hard time) part with, your team just becomes stagnant. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Al Davis winning a Super Bowl keeps him at least a single notch down the pole from Mike Brown.I would love to see the day when I feel the two of them are closer, because it means we won a championship.Until then, Mike Brown leads the way. BengalPimp Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 Mike Brown......HANDS DOWNAs Senile as Al Davis might be, he has still won a SuperBowl in the past decade, and has fielded a team that has made the Playoffs more than just twice in the past 20 years. As clueless as Daniel Snyder may be, AT LEAST HE TRIES to bring in players and is willing to spend money, granted he overpays and signs guys regardless if they can play in his coaches' system or not, BUT AT LEAST HE MAKES AN EFFORT!!!!F*ck You Mike Brown !!!!! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 F*ck You Mike Brown !!!!!I find that when using this particular expletive, it works best in all caps sort of like my efforts when speaking of Chad.Let me show you:F*CK YOU MIKE BROWN !!!It just seems to really capture the anger better.Good work though, I agree... jjakq27 Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 I guess a Super Bowl title gets him a little advantage but you gotta admit that since that point he has run a three ring circus in Oakland. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 OMFG... I think I want to change my vote! Al Davis has crossed into the great unknown and actually makes Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones look healthy! You gotta see it to believe it! Quote
jjakq27 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 I know this is an understatement but the dude is seriously ill. Who is next in line to take over the team? Quote

TJJackson Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Bidwell has to be in the discussion Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Bidwell has to be in the discussionAgree, but only if he gets in line after Mike Brown and Al Davis... Quote
jjakq27 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 I read something yesterday that said last season was the first non-losing season (8-8) for the Raiders since they won the Super Bowl. They set the NFL record for 7 straight seasons with 10 or more loses. Not even our guy can beat that. Quote
Kazkal Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Dunno I like raiders direction this offseason besides hiring of Bresh. Quote
cincy9275 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 mike brown is the worst owner in the history of all owners. mike brown is completely insane and should be locked up in a mental institution. as for al davis they should take him out back and put him down just disgusting! the golem from lotr is more pleasant to look at. Not even our guy can beat that.Yeah, but if not for the effort (or lack thereof) of the Detroit Lions a couple years back, the Bengals held the worst overall record for a decade across ALL SPORTS for quite some time. To even be in the top 5 considering ALL sports is quite embarrassing. Thanks Mike Brown. Quote
COB Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 I know this is an understatement but the dude is seriously ill. Who is next in line to take over the team?Al has a son, Marc, who supposedly has recently been interested in running the team. Previously he was not interested in even working with his father. Al has never announced any succession plan, as he is probably relying on his status as a member of the walking dead to have him running the team forever. Quote

jjakq27 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 1. Al Davis2. Jerry Jones3. Dan SynderIn that particular order!Jerry Jones and Dan Snyder are Mike Brown's reasons for not spending lavishly or hiring a ton of scouts, and every other thing we've clamored for over the years. Their success rate isn't much better than MB's and he didn't have to spend nearly what they did to achieve those same results. Quote
TJJackson Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I still say Bidwell has to be on that list Quote
