bengalskyspy
I have struggled as a season ticket holder since Marvin Lewis was hired. He gave me hope. At first, I truly respected his in-charge style. And there were moments. But alas, this run was over in 2005 when Carson's knee was crushed, along with my dreams of a respectable hometown team. It is over. It has been over for a long time if I am honest with myself. It's not you, it's me. You've always been true to yourself. But I tried to change you and that was wrong. So now you are free to be who you really want to be. I won't be nagging you with my petty wants and needs, like winning. I won't be bitching at you for being cheap. I was cruel. You can't help yourself. I am sorry.
ArmyBengal
I couldn't in my heart of hearts root for another team. It just wouldn't feel right to me.I suppose I will go to my grave being a fan of a dysfunctional team. Here's to hoping I eat so much Turkey Thursday, I pass out prior to the game starting. If the Turkey doesn't work, a little Crown will surely assist in the matter. Kazkal
I don't live in Cinci nor have I ever been to cinci but I've been a fan for 20 years and a fan I shall remain no matter how saddened I amn by our current state. With that being said I Fully support ditching your tickets now no reason to support mike brown hopefully enough people will stop going and it will get noticed...Nothing wrong with watching good football until Bengals ship finally gets righted (Go Ducks!) With that being said I wanted to follow a 2nd team you listed I'd probably go with-Bears They been Off and on but you'll have their tailgating to look forward to-Lions I think their on the right path to being a solid team just need some Oline -Colts Well They still have manning and if favre has shown us anything is Manning should have a good 5-10 years leftBrowns - I guess would be okay since it is a ohio team and if you ln live ohio-Steelers I rather Eat Glass. HairOnFire
I say let the NFL pick your team for you. Whatever team wins the championship this season is your new team. You're a free agent now. Make 'em fight for you.

yearofthetiger513
Do whatever you want. This team doesn't deserve your money and frankly, the only way we can force change is by refusing to pay for this sh*t. I respect your decision if anything. membengal
Living here in Baltimore now, I must say, I am being tempted. Sure, they employ stabby. But they also win. And it turns out winning is a lot more fun than losing. A few more come hither glances, and my resolve may finish crumbling.
Scottishbengal
C'mon guys - get a reality check here. Sure it's damn frustrating/annoying/disappointing (etc etc) but this is YOUR Bengals team. So what happens when you switch to another team and that team goes through a bad time? You bail again to the flavour of the month of another franchise? Lets curse, swear, lick our wounds, do whatever it takes and come out the other side still wearing our stripes with pride!WHODEY
membengal
I'm too old to be lectured to, Scottish. I've put in my time. I think I have identified a point where it just becomes silly to keep rooting for an organization as incompetent as this one.

cincyhokie
Is this a serious topic? Once the Bengals have their 1 in 5 year decent season, which right now looks to be 2013-2014, the "jumpers" will be right back to being fans.Face it. You CAN'T switch teams. If you did have this ability you would have never picked the Bengals in the first place. You're stuck here like the rest of us. In purgatory. Grab a beer and enjoy your stay. Your head and logic are telling your heart and emotions to let go. Rooting for such an inept team and franchise is insane. It doesn't matter. Your heart is tied to this trainwreck of a team. membengal
It is what it is. I live here in Baltimore now. I have flown my Bengals flag (literally). I have stood tall. But I can't help but notice how well run that franchise is. They have a plan, they follow it. They expect certain things from their players on the field. It's weird, but I am given to understand that is something called competence. Per my other thread (low point), I just don't know how much more I can take from the Bengals. I didn't "choose" them, I grew up in Cincy. They chose me, as it were. But, I am now old enough to reflect on the fact that I don't have to be tied to idiocy anymore. Not saying I will jump, just that I can feel it ebbing away. And if the Bengals f**k up this coaching change, that may be the final death blows to my fandom.
BengalszoneBilly
As most folks know here, I live in Arizona, and the Cardinals are my 2nd favorite team. Problem is they are in the same boat as the Bengals. No leadership at the QB position, limited running game, and spotty defensive play. That being said I could never jump on a bandwagon of a winning team just because mine suck balls.

How many winning seasons.....only 2. I dont know about you but im tired of average or below average coaching, and a below average team. Im tired of it, its time to find a winning way. Find a coach who can make this team a contender year in and year out, not a laughing stock!
