Well, for those backing the "Tom Brady will play lights out this season 'cause it's a contract year" theory, Peter "skunkhair" King just reported he's got a new 4 year deal with the team. Exact details unknown but he says it's $19 million/year average, so that would be $76 million for 4 years.

I heard Peter King talking about this contract on Sirius this morning. It was almost comical how happy he was. He kept saying, "Kudos to Bob Kraft for getting this done." King just gushed about Brady, the Patriots, and their management. He's very clearly in love.
