ArmyBengal
I'm starting this now, because I'm really busy tomorrow and am getting on the road headed back to Cincinnati for the 10 days. Sucks how right when you get 10 days to go home and the Reds are on an 11 or 12 game road trip !!!Go Reds !!!
semiotter
Seen were the Reds called up Travis Wood to start thursdays game. Daniel H was sent down.
AGrizzlyBaer
The game is surprisingly a week day game that is on tv. If you have time you can catch it on fox sports today. Here's to hoping Travis Woods has a nice major league debut.
semiotter
This series is like old time Cubbies games. All day games with the Reds!! Go Reds
semiotter
After 7. Woods is throwing a 2 hit shutout. Cmon Reds get some runs and get this win. They have 9 hits but need to put some together. Caberea with a leadoff double. Votto up now.
semiotter
Arrrrrg Woods with 2 walks and Masset gives up 2 hits. Cubs tie it up 2-2. :-(
semiotter
Wow 3-2 win over Cubs. 16 hits and only 3 runs. That's a lot of LOBs. Jay Bruce with a good game. Still needing Stubbs to hit better. Another rookie P that looked good. Man are things looking good for Reds fans. Now let's go Brewers!!

Stripes
It's great (and foreign) to be ten games over .500 in July. All the close games make me nervous, the good luck won't last forever.

All the close games make me nervous, the good luck won't last forever. Its not all ""Luck"" bro!! Reds lead in a lot of Off categories they are getting some really good pitching and the bullpen is getting it together with the new call ups they have got. Don't forget Edwin is lighting it up in Louisville and will be called up soon along with Chapman who has to be called up some time. So I don't see it as luck at all. Dem Reds are Goooood!!! BengalszoneBilly
Now if the Brewers can whip some Cardinal butt again tonight, we can start opening up this spread!
BlainThePain
Does anybody else think that if Ondrusek (spelling) can keep this up, that he should be our closer until Cordero can get his act together?
redsbengalsbucks
Does anybody else think that if Ondrusek (spelling) can keep this up, that he should be our closer until Cordero can get his act together? Not yet, but Coco needs to pick it up a notch soon. BengalszoneBilly
Does anybody else think that if Ondrusek (spelling) can keep this up, that he should be our closer until Cordero can get his act together?I wouldn't go messing with what's working for the team. Cordero does get scary, but he still usually brings home a win.
semiotter
Well CoCo has went through some rough spells this year, but lately he has got it together!!
Stripes
Cordero has been very reliable prior to this season, so I remain hopeful he'll get it figured out soon enough if he hasn't already. He's no Danny Graves.
semiotter
Reds have zero hits after 5.

BengalszoneBilly
Cueto gave up 7 hits and 5 walks in five innings pitched without allowing a run.The defense is the reason for that. They're playing very well!
