ArmyBengal
Below is a reminder of how this thing will go and the draft order. PLEASE read through again and try to do your best at checking into the board for your pick and make selections that are at least reasonable for the team you are picking for. I WILL START A NEW THREAD FOR THE OFFICIAL MOCK DRAFT. Please don't make comments in that thread and try to keep them here in the discussion thread.Kaz, you got Minnesota. Thanks brother !!!#1. This will only be a FIRST ROUND mock draft and will not go into the 2nd round. (The first round took 9 days last year)#2. There will be NO TRADES. The mock draft is crazy enough without adding that to it.#3. The Bengals pick will be done by poll, like last year (We got that right by the way) and I will start a new thread to discuss who our pick should be.#4. We will have plenty of time, so try to give your pick some thought as to why you chose that player for the team you have and give a rationale.#5. Be true to your pick. In other words, pick a player that either represents the BPA or at least a NEED for the team you have assigned. Nothing stupid.#6. Last year we gave everyone 8 hours to make their pick, but it wasn't enforced. This year you will have 6 HOURS and it WILL be enforced. From midnight until 8:00am, the 6 hour clock will not run. So if you go on the clock with your pick at 10:00pm, you will have until noon the following day to make your pick. After 6 hours is up, your pick will be made for you. If you know you won't be available, try to drop a PM or email to one of us to keep things moving as opposed to waiting 6 hours. Mods will handle making picks for those that don't show. You also don't have to wait the 6 hours to make your pick either. You can make it as soon as you go on the clock.#7. We will kick things off tomorrow, 9 April at 8:00am.2010 NFL DRAFT ORDER1. ST. HoosierCat
Well, that was pretty anticlimactic, wasn't it? Once they cut Bulger, Bradford was a foregone conclusion. Rams get their QB of the Future, for better or for worse. Hopefully, they can use the rest of the draft to give him an o-line so he doesn't et killed. COB
I feel sorry for Bradford. St. Louis is not exactly the garden spot of the US, and the Rams suck. Did they get their new owner yet?
BengalszoneBilly
From midnight until 8:00am, the 6 hour clock will not run. Army, you need to remember Kaz, myself, and probably a couple others here aren't on Eastern Standard time.
ArmyBengal
I'm on Central time, but we can keep that in mind prior to making someone's pick for them.Adapt and overcome my friend !!! I'm sure it will be fine...

ArmyBengal
This is moving pretty good......so farNow you did it...Kidding, but just wait, the weekend could slow the thing down a little. Here's to hoping it continues this way...Funny how Detroit not taking one of the two elite DT's could send the other falling off a bit. Kazkal
Withe the 4th Overall Pick in the 2010 Draft, The Washington Redskins select:Trent Williams OT OklahomaI really see Russell Okung going here, but with him already being off our draft board, I think Williams is the next choice. It's no secret that the Redskins are hurting along the Offensive Line, especially with the retirement of Chris Samuels. The have Stephon Heyer who started all 16 games for them returning, but the only other 2 "True" Tackles on their roster as of right now are: Clint Oldenburg (2 career NFL games 0 starts) and Will Robinson (1 career NFL game 0 starts). In case of emergency, they do have the option to move over Mike Williams from G, but thats not ideal.Desperate for a LT, if Okung is gone, I believe they take Trent Williams over Bryan Bulaga. Trent Williams (6'5" 315lbs) is very good at pass protection, and uses his long arms well. According to scouting reports he does need to improve his run blocking, but that can come in time. Very Agile for his size, Williams put up some impressive numbers for an O-Lineman. 4.81 second 40-time (for a 315 pounder) and 34.5" Vertical.Again, Okung is the premier Tackle in this draft, but if he's unavailable, Trent Williams should be the pick. Well remember reading Some Believe if it came down tackles that Redskins could go with Williams because he's more suited for Zone blocking and higher upside.
