Did you see the locker room interview? Chad is clearly broken up and I wouldn't attribute any of his usual attention grabbing sentiment to this. ChadJohnson-85
Yeah I seen the video. Really sad. I understand why Chad is wearing #15. In remembrance of a friend. It all just happened very very fast.
DC_Bengals_Fan
Maybe too soon?Absolutely not. This is when those sort of gestures help get over tragedy. This isn't just Chad being Chad. This is a guy Chad's known for 4 years and apparently gotten close to.
Kazkal
PFT mentioned that chad wanted to wear it for this sundays game but the no fun league has already quashed it :/,Really a shame and agree with PFT under special circumstances they should bend the rules...it's not like Ocho is trying to drive up his jersey sales but simply honoring his friend. He should go ahead and wear it under his 85 jersey. BTW, anyone know why he's using a black visor (I've never seen him with one)? Is that something Henry used during practice? Or is he just hiding his tears?
Pidge
Apparently he says he's still going to wear it. Hide his tears or some such thing. He on ustream right now getting his head shaved. Compelling viewing.

ArmyBengal
I can recall there being such talk about fans bringing money to the game to pay for Chad's next fine for a celebration last year.Well, to see Chad actually wear Henry's jersey knowing he would get a hefty fine, I would be more than happy to bring some cash to donate to that cause. Has he ever listened to what the NFL has told him? Don't think so... Chad is going to do something... But we aren't sure what that something is going to be.... I don't think Marv will allow chad to wear Slims jersey on Sunday...

I just wonder if Chad will be ok on Sunday if his head will be in the game or not. Whatever happens i think it was a great thought from Chad, and it shows how much he really cared about Slim. What would be the point? Everyone is grieving and some will do it in their own way. Chad is extroverted, so this kind of thing makes sense. Heck, if he did it for the rest of the season, I doubt anyone would make a serious issue of it.
Mforcerulesall
Hello to all. This is my first post, I have been reading this site for several years, and never had anything worth saying, until now. I don't know that it is realistic, but I do believe the Bengals should do something along the lines of what Washington did for Sean Taylor. I was thinking of something along the lines of throwing a deep incomplete pass on the first play. Anyway, RIP #15.

Personally I doubt the Bengals would do such a thing, even though it harkens to the military aviation missing man formation. I believe they will find another way to pay tribute to Chris, and Chad will most likely be the first to do it.
Pidge
Honestly, it would be a fantastic gesture but I doubt it happens. Having been at UM at the same time as ST and seeing him win a NT with the Canes he was a personal favourite of mine and he brought that same intensity to the Redskins. It was so stark to see the Skins D only line up 10 men on the first play in the game after his death.Hopefully a nice tribute is played in the stadium or something.
