walzav29 Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 I think it's important to have a blowout. I want them to fire on all cylindars. Sack Stafford 5 times 4 ints. Palmer 3-4 TD's Ced over 130. We need to just man handle one of these crappy teams. Quote

Then we can look back and enjoy the narrow wins/blow outs and all as we look forward to the postseason Quote
jonahdsage Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Man, i just really hope we win by at least 1. Quote

derekshank Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 I'll be very surprised if the Bengals win by more than 2 scores. I could see them scoring 14 points in the first quarter, and then sitting on that lead with 40+ minutes in the TOP game. This game has 20-6 written all over it. Quote
membengal Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 I hope this isn't intended to be the game thread as derek is on point for that, I believe. Quote

Let's not jinx things up and lose the game simply because a poster ignored superstition and tradition by carelessly thread starting. Stay focused and frosty. Eyes front. We can win this thing. Quote

AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 So I know it doesn't mean much but the two other games I have gone to this year the bengals offense exploded. I was at the Colts Preseason and the Bears games. Both times we scored over 30. This week I am going to the game, and I hope that trend continues. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 I'm gonna say: Bengals 30, Lions 21. With nothing to lose, Lions go for it on a lot of fourths, even in FG range. But they turn it over enough that the Bengals get some easy FGs to go with their 3 TDs (2 on offense, 1 pick 6 by JJoe). Quote
BengalByTheBay Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Bengals win handily if, and only if, Coles sits and Quan Undrafted-M**her-f**king Cosby starts. I actually don't think it would change much of anything if the Bengals blow them out or win by 3. For those who care much about what the national media is serving up, I couldn't help but notice a remarkable lack of bandwagon offloading after Oakland. I think most people saw it for what it was - letting a bad team hand around long enough to make a few critical errors. It didn't hurt that Pitt. lost the same weekend as well. But I think the Bengals are solidly in the good team category and blowing out the Lions wouldn't increase that status much. As for me, it's always fun to see a laugher, but I'm kinda getting used to the low scoring ball control offense and can't really complain if the W's result. Quote
walzav29 Posted December 5, 2009 Author Report Posted December 5, 2009 Rest easy folks. The Bengals are 8-0 when I go to church and wear my Ki-Jana Carter jersey. I will be there in the morning and my jersey is in the closet. You guys didn't know I control the fate of the Bengals? Quote
