Congrats Bengals
I just wanted to tip my hat to the Bengals and their fans. I was really surprised that the Bengals came into Heinz Field and won it. The Bengals earned this and their defense especially played very well, they stifled Pittsburgh all day. Well that's about it, enjoy the victory. Congrats.

SteelerFan87
Yeah, allow me to say congratulations as well. You guys played better today. Somebody taught the Bengals how to play winning football, and I don't like it. lol None of that "blah blah look at us!" crap from 05. This Bengals team stays focused, plays hard and physical, and doesn't make stupid mistakes. There were times at the end of the game when I thought "which of these teams is the Steelers and which is the Bengals?" The Steelers were playing stupid, the Bengals were playing physical. Since when does that happen? lolAnyway, I just hope Troy's ok. See you in the playoffs.
BengalszoneBilly
See you in the playoffs. We may or we may not. You guys still have two games against the Ravens. Those aren't easy games.

Pidge
Nicely done guys. Thanks and good luck the rest of the way. I'm hoping we meet you in the playoffs again. Let's settle this once and for all this season. I would have liked to see the Donks again but yeah...looking not so good for them suddenly. Stripes
Pittsburgh will probably make the playoffs as the #5 seed, but it's still entirely plausible they roll through their easy schedule and finish 13-3, so the division isn't ours at all yet. If they are the top wildcard though, I think we won't face them in the first round either due to the bye or because we'll be matched up against the #6. I'm pretty confident that if we win the division we'll be ranked above San Diego or Denver.Frankly I'm looking at the #2 seed, and if New England wins tonight I'll resist urges to think about the #1. cincyhokie
Very nice gesture. I hate the Steelers but respect them. As far as their fans go, not so much...but...for the most part I have seen alot of humble acknowledgement of today's outcome.

baxterdwall
It's a feeling thing, isn't it? I don't know whether to be surprised or angry about being swept. It's kind of a shade of apathy, I suppose. It's funny, the only time I even enjoy posting here is when the Bengals don't suck. I forgot the info to my old account because I haven't been here in so long. The Bengals are on the verge of entering a realm of relevancy for me in the grand scheme o' things. What I mean by that is that I don't HATE the Ravens, I respect them. They are generally formidable opponents and I usually respect the way they play. I don't root for those bastards, don't get me wrong. . . but when I see the Ravens play AFC North ball. . . physical, dominanting defense. . . it's a silent respect. I don't respect Cinci yet, though. . but they aren't a joke. Maybe from here on out I won't look at the schedule when it comes out and pencil 2 wins in front of Cincy and Cleveland anymore. . . well, not in front of Cincy. Anywhoo, here's to the Bengals not breaking down and remaining relevant, eh? Honestly, i'm just waiting for them to blow it, though. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. I never would've though we'd lose twice to Cincy. Two wins over Baltimore, two over Pittsburgh. . . it really does look like the Bengals are for real.I wish we could have Polamalu in clutch time in one of these damn games, but it is what it is. Shoot, now that the team is over the psychological obstacle of being systematically destroyed by Pittsburgh, they should be able to take that mentality other places, too. I can realistically see them getting into the 2nd and 3rd round of playoffs. You never know, though, you guys will come to know and loathe the nervousness that we're accustomed to. The kind that comes with knowing that generally, any seed in the AFC can beat anyone else. It's pretty nerve racking, but you all will see that first hand. Enjoy winning the division, we all know it doesn't happen all that often.
Pidge
Until this point. This D is only 9 games into it's tenure. I wonder what they can achieve in the next decade.

I wonder what they can achieve in the next decade. It's ok to be optimistic, but fans of losing teams who find success usually let it go to their heads. I remember in 05 when everyone here was saying that the Bengals were a dynasty en route to their first of many championships. That didn't work out. Just think of the next game, don't try to think that far ahead, you'll only let yourself down if things turn South.
