Sea Ray
Anybody notice the Steeler Hail Mary strategy? I'm sure most of you were like me and were too busy celebrating but if you play it back on your DVR you'll see that the Steelers kept 7 in to block. The Bengals only rushed 3. So that meant the Bengals had 8 guys to cover 3 Steeler receivers. What were the Steelers thinking? Odds on a Hail Mary are bad enough but who thinks sending 3 out into a field covered by 8 Bengals has any chance of working?Strangest Hail Mary formation I've ever seen
BengalszoneBilly
Felt like I was watching a re-run of many of those previous games during the first half yesterday. But for some reason I never got the usual feeling of resignation that it was over. Same here. The first half was ugly, and I was disappointed, but I never hit the panic button. Thankfully, the team didn't either.Plenty of people were mashing that panic button though. Go read through the first half of the gameday thread.I'm guilty here. That first half just seemed like the same s**t on a different day. Then JJ's INT flipped the game!

ArmyBengal
Was I on the panic button in the first half of the game ?? Yes and I'll take it another step in admitting that for as much as I love Carson, I was sitting there thinking he really might have already seen his best days and I wasn't all pleased by that thought entering my head. Thing is, this is a game of emotions and the great thing about it is, you will go though those ups and downs in the course of a game and when your team pulls out a big win in that fashion, all that stuff seems to fade for a while. Are some of those issues still there ?? Of course, but I must say, I'm feeling better about what the problems are and how difficult I see them being for this team in the long run.If you weren't VERY concerned when it hit 13-0 early, I'd be suprised... membengal
29 hours later and they are still on full meltdown mode at stillers.com. I mean, really. The over-reaction there is awe-inspiring. And, their pain, it continues to nurture my soul.
